Im not a fan of them either.. you can't see the wheel sometime, so I am painting them a lighter color next week.

Much better with the silver IMO. I think it's your best combo yet.

A guy I work with, out in Modesto, always come to visit my office in the dead of winter. Its always a good laugh when he brings his Alaskan jacket when its around 25*-30*. Last year he was here when it was about 5-10 below zero. He said he about died when he walked out of the hotel!!!

Drove up Sierra Rd after the storm passed and the view was amazing! Also, no rubbing while driving up, and only bottomed out slightly once on the whole drive.. Loving this setup.

no problem sir, very well deserved! and i love the way those es2s look on these 3g tls. And even though id run a 9.5 in those for a little bit more aggressive fitment and concave those 8.5s look awesome!! If they were polished they would look super dope too.

And thanks bro! Im lovin these aspecs, and super stoked i found them in 8.5!

I would honestly prefer 9.5 all around and maybe 10.5 in the rear. The story behind these wheels were that the 17x9 that I used to have just looked too small on my car. I had them listed for dirt cheap and no one bought em, but my friend had these wheels and offered to trade. I wanted 18s so I just went through with it. Next set will definitely be 9.5 front and 10.5/11 rear but for now I'm happy with these.

Couple updates. Wired in my fog lights and also traded my catback for a non res XLR8 base..

Need to clean it really nice and polish it, but I did the best I could with a microfiber and a cleaner. Also need to see what I'm going to do for tips since I have the Type S rear lip.

I had had a weird creaking noise, coming from the back of my car. Thought it was the bushings in the top hat so as I took it off and apart, I ended up removing one of the collars from the rear coils. Looks really good now and the noise is gone too! Also have a splitter and comptech short shifter coming in next week!

It is the 11-14 STi lip. I actually want to do subtle side skirt extensions next but don't think I will do anything for the back.
