New LED Fogs Do Not Work...
Hello all,
I recently purchased these on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I used the vehicle fitting guide via Amazon (not sure how reliable) and also made sure it was an H11 fit.
First, let me say how much of a pain in the ass it is to remove the plastic tabs under the bumper. Not sure if this is just an Acura thing, but these tabs took a lot of effort and I basically knicked and marked up each tab (not important as they are out of sight).
Now, they are advertised as plug and play and the reviews look promising. The Fogs have a heat sink fan attached to it, then the cable that would attach with the wiring. Now, I tested both bulbs and they did not work.
Can anyone recommend a brand or maybe something that I did wrong? I just want a bright / cool white LED output for my fogs to match my HID projectors. I have no interest in doing an HID kit for my fogs either.
Thanks,
Eggs

These clips aren't called "bitch clips" for no reason! Honda/Acura has a specific tool for taking these out, but if you're cheap like me, I just use 2 small flat head screwdrivers and pry from opposite ends of the clip and it should "pop" out. Once that happens you can just pull them out with your fingers.
As for them not working, try what justnspace mentioned before returning them.

Invest in a Push Pin Removal Pliers/Clip Pliers tool made specifically for removing this kind of clips. https://www.amazon.com/GearWrench-3705-Upholstery-Clip-Pliers/dp/B000NP2SBG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483541275&sr=8-1&keywords=kd+3705 or this set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LOXUVLO?psc=1
Or get really good at using two stubby flat heads and order/have some extra clips on the side because they do break or...invest in some zip ties lol

Interesting that bulb set does not have an LED driver that connects inline with the bulb. Some of the other led bulbs have a small "ballast/driver" that i have seen.
The other option is to test them with a 12 volt power supply to ensure each one can power on. Make sure your fog lights didn't pop a fuse.

Well everyone thanks for the help! Here is what the new LED fog looks like vs stock:
Turns out it was the polarity thing. I just assumed it only connected one way with the way the lock in clips on it were placed. Very bright and more of a cooler white compared to the stock HID but I love it anyway. Love the cool white LED look most new cars have these days, and with plans to keep this for a while I want to do what I can to bring this car into the present day. I already got exLED's (6k) for the interior and cool white (very bright) LED back ups.
The clips were a pain in the ass as the car has 50k miles on it so dirt and grit made these clips difficult to pull out. I broke one, but the flap is still secure and I will see if my local dealer would sell (or hopefully just give me) any extra clips for future mods just in case.
I still have a set of v3 triton switchback LED's for my turns, I just need to do the headlight bake which I will save for a day that I have a lot of free time.
Thanks again for all the help. I am not that mechanically inclined but this was a simple mod for me to do.
