Fix for cracked bumper??

Hey guys, so I took off my front license plate and behind it was a dent/crack from a screw that was too long and indented the bumper. I bought the car a year ago and have not taken the license plate off until now. I'm really disappointed because I don't want the license plate on there but I also don't want to have to buy a new bumper! If anyone knows anything that I could do to fix this that would be amazing!

Bondo is use on metal or a rigid substrate not something flexible like plastic bumpers. Bondo is not flexible so it will crack with minimal amount of impact. Such as a 2/3 mph impact. Which is not unusual for a bumper.

Instead use a flexibility filler that's made specifically for adhering to flexible plastics like bumpers.

Comes down to 3 options:

1. live with it (free)
2. repair it out of your pocket ($500-800)
3. claim on your insurance (???)

If its not punctured you may be able to heat up and work it a bit then slap on some touchup but the only way youll be able to rock it with plate off is to have shop yank the bumper, repair and paint the whole bumper.

If Im with Justn...I vote Option 1 with the info I have here

Remove paint in the area, rough up the back and use fiberglass, after that dries, use Maxim filler on the front.

As certain parts for the car are not available, and quality used parts are quite hard to come by, just wanted to add
that the front spoiler was in 3 pieces, but in this case, used wire impregnated into the fiberglass on the back, then
Maxim on the front, this is the result. I actually fixed 2 others along with broken side skirts. A lot of time, but not
much money.
Purchased the car new and the OEM side skirts/spoiler that came with the car have never been damaged and are
wrapped in the garage.
