Great post! Love that you measured the weight of everything; sucks that the OEM one was actually lighter. Shoulda got the sedan version for weight savings! .
Has the new exhaust "broken in" a bit yet? Any difference in sound?
I'm not sure. I'm still on the fence of if it's too loud or not (yes, I'm old) and/but it seems to have been getting a bit "mellower" (???) maybe. Of course, one needs to consider that I put *maybe* 50 miles a week on my car, so it hasn't had much time to "break in" in the past week-ish. I still intend to get some audio of it, and that was my plan for today, but Houston... Rain...

But judging from the 'cheers' smilie, I think "Thank you" is an appropriate response? So, thanks!
I've been fighting with my camera and mic setup for over a week now and think I might have finally figured out a setup.
First struggle was getting my mic to work with my camera... which seems to have been a struggle only because the mic needed a new battery.
I think I've got the mic placement sorted so it isn't overwhelmed but I might still play around with a better wind filter before going out to a closed course to have a professional driver drive the car while I get some controlled audio.
Ha ha, I had to go back and listen for it to figure out what you meant by the airplane noise...
Yeah, that's just the sound of OEM "lowest common denominator" tires on the concrete ultraslab roads around Houston. It does sound like a turbine engine whine!
I have another video I recorded this morning that had a weed wacker buzzing at one point. I didn't use that one because I though it might be too confusing to figure out which was the Husqvarna and which was the Honda.
And, Jeremy, I played around for a week trying to figure out why my mic wasn't working. Because it needed a battery. You should point out how dumb I am for that.
I'll probably just go back to making crappy videos then. I'll be like 99% of the videos out there, just saturated buzzing and nothing but like a 3dB range of discernible audio. Put up the standard, "lol, sry for the crappy iphone recording" disclaimer. Oh, and should film in portrait mode, of course.
After I get all the videos shot, I might go back through and make alternate versions for just the iphone set. Convert to vertical, black bars on the sides with basically no field of view. Then filter all the audio to a really narrow band right around 30 Hz and saturate the rest of it to just a dull hiss.
Put a sepia and HDR filter on it with some serious vignetting and it'll be instagram prime time!
Of course, mandatory full screen "DONT 4GET 2 LIEK an SUSCRIBE!"
hey, just cuz im a foreigner (and not like those Canadian Cucks) dont tell me how dumb I am. Come November i will be laughing as i sell my passport for MILLIONS to those trying to escape!

I hope you like potatoes. Because you're about to get a bag of them crammed into your anus.
Spacers, coilovers...does tein make the basis for $500 for you?
Sounds mean AF too...I love it, Joe.
Yeah, Tein has at least three kits; the Basis/Basic, Advance, and Flex, I believe. In the $500/$600/$1000 ranges.
Roland_Bluntzs has all but convinced me that the SA's are what I need. Mainly because then I can make dumb "check it out... ese (SA)" comments while pointing at my struts. That's probably worth more than the height adjustment.
My curiosity got the best of me, so rather than doing homework like I should have, I mashed my computer keyboard and mouse until this happened:
It's a hack job and honestly, I'm not sure how it came out like it did since usually my efforts look *much* more juvenile. But hey, just like Bob Ross would say, "happy little accidents".
I think you guys might be right about the black fog light surrounds.
