The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (V)
I pucker up in the rain on my motorbike with sticky tires with all sorts of contact patch. I can't imagine hitting a downhill at 50 mph or whatever on those skinny ass tires at whatever ridiculous pressure they're running. Might as well be using marbles.
They're either running 23 or 25mm tires and at 110-130PSI. Contact patch as skinny as my peen... I always ran 23 because "LESS RESISTANCES brah" but I think imma start doing 25's on my next build for safety purposes

Wow, brutal crash!
Yeah, you can tell the ground is wet and she probably didn't anticipate how sharp a curve it was. Scary!
B had the Olympics on last night for a spell...pretty cool stuff! Was waiting for the Brazilian volleyball team for the next 4 years of memes!
Adam...what in the hell?!?! That story is kinda funny but kinda odd too. Ew Grindr...can't they use a regular site like plenty of fish or j date?!

Oh and PS...that thread asking to hide quoted text from blocked people was hilarious.
I guess I never understood blocking...to me, that shows a lack of self control...to think someone can get under your skin to the point that you need to not see what they say for self preservation. I mean, I know you could spin it to just say
I've never blocked a member, nor a telephone number or anything. I've avoided contact with people with negative sky is falling syndrome...but that's the extent of it.

It's weird that the blocking in quotes topic was brought up because on my computer, whenever someone I've blocked gets quoted, it doesn't show up. It just shows something like "This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member".
So I don't know if it's a plugin I've got or what, but I thought once you block someone you never see them post again, even in quotes.

this'll sound pretty stupid to you guys that are more internet savvy.
but I actually thought if you blocked someone, they literally died and no longer existed.
go ahead, poke fun. now that I say that out loud, I guess I should have known it's not how it works.

Weekend was alright, doing a bunch of stuff trying to get ready for Mini Me #2's 1st birthday in a couple of weeks!
Hot as hell in DFW, 104-105ish. not fun. Watched some of the olympics, missed the road bikes so thanks to this thread i saw that crash. I CANNOT bring myself to watch the leg break gymnastic dude though....My 3 year old got really into the swimming last night which was funny to watch.
Just back in the office today, dont wanna be here! My Craft beers this weekend have been drinking all the leftover Shiners from the 3 yr olds birthday 2 weeks ago....

solid, man!
We didn't do much...Friday night we chilled, ordered sushi and watched stranger things.
Saturday had a couple of friends over for dinner. They were delicious.
Yesterday, mom & aunt stopped by with a friend that's got pretty bad ALS. Her daughter used to babysit my sister and I so we've known her a long time. Brutal but fun to make her laugh and let her hold the baby for a bit. Intermittently cleaned both Cadillacs and washed them.
Today, hit the road early...and now just truckin along looking forward to 4pm when I get to make my kid smile.

It's good if you're a kid of the 80's that liked scary sci fi...
Wife hates sci fi and she loved it...
got a little goofy toward the finale but that's to be expected.

Im on it, im on it, i wanted to see it since i was a true 80's kiddo. Goonies, Explorers, Flight of the Navigator, D.A.R.Y.L. etc (cant wait to show all these to my boys).
We just got given the first 5 seasons of GOT to try catch up on so gonna give it a shot. Wife isnt big into Sci-fi or Fantasy so if we go 2 for 2 i will be surprised!

you'll see similarties to Goonies, E.T, and some other 80's movies, but its done so WELL, that it doesnt take away from Stranger things
80's is my bread and butter.. Stranger things.. eh.
I just can't keep my attention to shows like this.. great production, acting, the whole shtick..
But I want this type of genre packaged into 2 hrs, haven't watched past the first episode.
Most everyone says they love it though. free shrugs.
