I took it to a shop to torch the collar and it loosened. There was some glue residue underneath... Shady as hell but I'm glad the car is off jack stands

Changed up the grille again! Sanded and polished the outside pieces and plastidip'd the middle area.

Update: Just sold my catback today.. Had some fun doing pulls without an exhaust but I am borrowing his stock exhaust for the mean time. Just ordered the type s rear aspec today and hopefully ordering a quad tip catback in the near future.

Finally!! Just finished this. Dropping it off to get painted in a couple days. As for the exhaust I decided not to get the OBX but just custom a custom straight pipe with a resonator to some 4 inch quads. Hopefully everything is done by the end of the month!

Paint is done! The match isn't spot on but its good enough for me Quad tips came in already and I'm going to get my custom exhaust done next Sunday! Magna flow mufflers and y pipe should be coming in tomorrow too. Also, threw the all red tails back on and I like the look better now

Test fit of the 4 inch quads

Probably, but I got it painted for dirt cheap so it's good enough for me.

Drove up Mt. Diablo the day before the quads went on. I also dropped my bumper off again so he can match the lip better

Also installed an OEM style trunk lip, from thespoilerstore, featuring the newest addition to the family

Quick question, did you have to do anything special for your 15MM spacers....ie shorten the OEM wheel studs?? I was going to order some but the guy I was talking to said that I might have to replace the studs to shorter ones. I have 20MM all around and want the 15MM for the front.....TL looks very nice

If you have OEM wheels with pockets on the then you don't need to cut the OEM studs. The ones who cut it usually have aftermarket wheels

So I put on my friends Varrstoen ES2s for a week because he's riding on his show wheels for a bit. Its gonna be hard to give them back because it completes my car but I painted my stocks again so it doesn't blow as much. I used real paint this time, not plasti dip.

Here are the ES2s on my car

Gloss graphite gray stocks (going on the car in a couple days)

Here are the painted stock wheels back on my car. I didn't put the rear spacers on because my friend needed to borrow them to clear his brembos up front. I'll be putting those back on this weekend.

It was duplicolor graphite wheel coating and the code is HWP102 and then just clear coat on top which was also by duplicolor I believe
