Right. Because one can determine the build quality by looking at pics of a pre-production car on a computer screen.
You probably haven't even been in a Model S or Model X.
This is a car, not a truck or sports utility vehicle.
Model 3 doesn't cost $100K.
WTF does a NSX have to do with the Model 3 or a Lexus LX 570?
Another fail troll attempt
i mean that you dont need this kind of shape for reducing the drag. NSX has total airflow management and much wider car than Tesla. and it does not look this egg shape.
LX i put as real SUV with tall stance having commanding view of the road and unbreakable quality and isolation of body on frame.
Tesla SUV is merely a minivan. they should call it a minivan. this giant screen is cost saving measure and is distraction.
Don't know about quarterly delivery goals/expectations, but for full year deliveries since the introduction of the Model S in 2012, the only year they met or exceeded delivery goals/expectations was for 2013. Every other year they missed.

For the reduction of drag that Tesla is aiming for you do. Only manufacturer that has got it right with design and drag is Mercedes.

Those numbers are highly unreliable. TLX demolish C300MATIC at higher speeds and practically matches C450 at 130mph. TLX only have 290bhp version of J35. MB can't match TLX fuel economic

Wow, imagine that, a car with more horsepower (290 hp) is faster than a car with less horsepower (241 hp). You mean there's some truth to that thing we call physics?

"practically matches" Not even close.
City / Highway MPG looks pretty close to me.
you pull this numbers form C&D?. C450AMG has summer performance tires.
put 18inch heavy all season tires on them and see how much difference is
0-130mph.
Just look at noise level in C450AMG. it is unrefined junk compared to TLX. with piss poor fuel economy of 18mpg.
You know, after being disproved about 1341789 times whenever he has a tool of a comment, you'd think he'd give up. Man, he is dumber than he sounds, which I didn't think was possible
Dude, quit manipulating stuff. You're posting stuff about the Sonata Hybrid It has reduced power all around
Yes, but sure, it's not fair to compare a car with summer tires to one with all seasons, but it's fair to compare a lower powered hybrid that is being sold as a green car, not a performance car, to a standard car
He needs to be banned. Asap. At least Rocky Boy was funny at times

you think 2016 Sonata Hybrid is lower powered than Accord Hybrid?. quit posting misinformation. you already misinformed about calling Fit a Sedan.
Accord hybrid is also quieter than V6.
2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring First Test - Motor Trend
Off the dragstrip, and with the hybrid system details out of sight and out of mind, the car drives brilliantly. I’ve listed observed highway fuel economy numbers at the article’s end over a roundabout 1850-mile drive from San Antonio, Texas, back to MT Central near LAX by way of south Colorado. It’s quieter than its I-4 and V-6 counterparts with a deftly controlled ride that makes long drives easy on the driver
2016 Sonata Hybrid is slower than Accord.
2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid First Test
At the track, the Sonata Hybrid ran from zero to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds and finished the quarter mile in 16.3 seconds at 86.5 mph. It’s slower than the Toyota Camry Hybrid and Honda Accord Hybrid — both of which hit 60 mph in 7.1 seconds
The sonata hybrid is 100% about being green. They don't give two fucks about performance of that car.
I also didn't call the fit a sedan, dummy.
Go on. Keep padding yourself on the shoulder, reinforcing to yourself, and only yourself, that you're smart, while the rest of us think you're the dumbest fuck AZ has ever seen. You're an absolute brain dead retard.

Let me help him:
"those are just published numbers, they do not indicate the real world result due to Honda's superior aero package that includes the mirror, 4x4 look, front windshield wiper and rear wiper, not to mention the directional wheels. Also remember, Honda's bhp is superior, so you can get more for less, alot less.
I am the voice of reason, i pick and choose from the magazine about what is reliabile info and what is not."
You don't buy an electric car/hybrid for the performance, so enough with the paper racing already.
Lower drag coefficient claim like 0.24 should make Sonata hybrid more fuel economic at higher speeds. It simple can't compete with Accord hybrid despite Accord having wider tires

What the fuck does this have to do with the Model 3?

Must you derail every fucking thread with your nonsense?
A week ago, we started taking reservations for Model 3, and the excitement has been incredible. We’ve now received more than 325,000 reservations, which corresponds to about $14 billion in implied future sales, making this the single biggest one-week launch of any product ever. This interest has spread completely organically. Unlike other major product launches, we haven’t advertised or paid for any endorsements. Instead, this has been a true grassroots effort driven by the passion of the Tesla team that’s worked so hard to get to this point and our current and future customers who believe so strongly in what we are trying to achieve. Most importantly, we are all taking a huge step towards a better future by accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation.
We want to thank everyone who has shown their faith in Tesla and the mission of electric vehicles. We would write more, but we need to get back to increasing our Model 3 production plans!
let us know how it drives when you receive it.... like many many years later
I'm in no hurry. I plan major purchases far in advance and have been planning for a new ride in 2018 so this will be perfect. If something else comes out before then that catches my eye then I may switch but otherwise I'll wait patiently.

My friend's dad pre-ordered one and he's at like 250,000. I wonder how long he would need to wait when production begins.
To my knowledge they haven't told anyone where their spots are in line. I believe in the release Elon Musk mentioned there were around 200k reservations but they opened them up online a couple hours before the announcement. I made mine at a store not long after they opened so I'm hoping I'm within the first 100k.
