Need some quick help on a car purchase

Two options:

2007 RDX 55k Miles NO NAVI WHITE

Rear Bumper/Front Bumper shows a slight color mismatch dealer says possible because of the sun. No recorded accidents on CarFax/Autocheck or through DMV/Insurance.

Some nicks, rock chips, and some scratches. Interior looks nearly perfect besides it being dirty on one door which they said they would re-touch.

Engine looks real clean. Car run smooth and tranny seems in very good condition (shifts smooth). 1 owner -- some maintenance

Black Interior

16k + TTL

Option 2: 07' RDX Silver NO NAVI

15k + TTL

Minor cosmetic damage (rock chips, typical wear and tear)
70k miles
Engine looks clean -- car feels normal similar to above (option 1)
Ivory Interior
Interior has more cosmetic issues then Option 1
Side of seat as black stains possibly (driver chair)
Rear seats middle has some wear
CarFax clean 1 owner - some maintenance

Which one would you choose?

I can't find a Navi RDX without being insanely overpriced/insanely high mileage in great condition without it being 1k miles away from me.

I'd spend the extra grand and get the one with lower miles.

Get a PPI done on that one with 55k miles and go with that.

Dont rely on Carfax, its garbage. IMO

option 1.

personally, a better condition interior is more important to me than how it looks on the outside. i'm sitting inside the car. i'd like for it to be clean, rather than wondering what kind of mystery stain i'm sitting on. my two cents.

PPI?

My biggest concern is the difference in cosmetic condition.

I prefer white over silver anyday which is why I'm leaning toward the white 55k mile one.

Should I be worried about the mismatch on bumper? Of course, I didn't even notice it that much until I paid close attention. The interior isn't a big problem either.

First car:

You can see the slight mismatch in color.

Option 2:

I'm partial to the Ivory interior - i think it looks way nicer than the ebony, and the cosmetic damages don't really look that bad. So even though yeah 55k vs 70k, but if the interior matters to you and the difference in mileage isn't a concern (I mean when you think about it, it's like a whole year or more worth of mileage between them), I'd go with the 2nd option if you're like me and care more about the inside than the outside.

i was gonna say option 1 also but the difference in color is so evident just from pics. it'd bother me every time i walked to the car. honestly i don't see how the sun damaged just the paint on the front and rear bumpers only. if i didn't know better i'd think it was a minor rear end collision that pushed the car into another car which caused the front bumper to get replaced as well. i'd try to check behind the bumpers to see if there's any evidence of an accident.

According to some RDX owners, it is a common thing with the paint fade with white.

Option 1 is what im leaning with and he got my a 5 percent better rate which is unheard of compared to the other finance places ive been dealing with

Fixed

I have that issue with my TL but I'm not heartbroken over it. It's even worse because the A-Spec kit is a different shade of white too

Ah didn't know. :L

Plan on getting it re-painted to another color when I get it paid off like I did with my 3G.

The color mismatch is very common, not just for Acura.

BMW, Infiniti, Nissan, Lexus and pretty much every manufacturers that offers white, especially pearl white will have this issue.

Matter of fact, the whole car will turn more yellowish as it ages but bumper is worse because they are plastic.

Option 1 even though you will regret a black leather interior in TX. The paint mismatch is probably the wear difference between painted plastic and painted metal.

To the OP....Some words of knowledge from someone with a little bit of experience buying cars....Any car that is a metallic or pearl white, there is something unusual that happens, and that is the color bonds to plastic a little differently than to metal. It might be the additional contents added to the paint or plastic for adhesion, but just about every car out there that is pearl or metallic white will have bumpers that are mismatched ever so slightly, and this is something that happens over time. Don't ask why, just take it for what it is (because I have no idea why).

Thanks! I love it so far.

Can't wait to get the re-flash so the turbo lag is greatly reduced.

Congrats! The fact that the paint mismatch is "original" would soothe me a bit.
