I ended up not liking it that much. The interior features /space and the bed space was lot less than what I expected. Traded it in for a Silverado Z71 LTZ.
No plans for it, other than a new cover and tint.

i'm not very familiar with trucks in general. what does the silverado have that the f-250 doesn't? because to me, they both looks the same in terms of features and bedspace.
i wouldn't be surprised if you get back into another raptor in a few weeks!

I didn't pick Silverado over the f250,its just that I couldn't enjoy the f250as much.
Both have pros and cons. I'm not loving the looks of the Silverado but it's do able.
The interior is pretty good and all the new option are sick.
I just traded to try it out and see how I like it.
I'm in line for a 2014.Raptor once they start making them.
In the mean time, I'll be going through other trucks/SUVs.

And the Silverado does have some cool new features such as
Collision warning
Lane departure warning
Great navigation system (I couldn't stand the new updated one in f250,and the bluetooth kept crashing on me)
Navi also shows the speed limit on pretty much ever Street.
Very very spacious cabin.

I bought the new truck with hail damage and will fix it myself. Got a great discount on it.
Will make up the difference in this truck when i trade it in.
The sticker was 49 on the Silverado and I picked it up for 41.
Called my buddies at Chevy dealers and they said no one is giving discounts on these.

wow- you're changing trucks so fast that your signature is two vehicles out of date already. Good luck with the Chevy and hopefully it will live up to your expectations.
I also liked the Raptor the most. If you get tired of the Chevy soon, maybe you can get the Raptor back and then your signature would also be back in sync.

I tried out the new Silverado and was impressed by the interior. I liked the dash design and the led screen between the qauges and the nav screen. Also liked the rocker switches on the center console. The Silverado will get you better gas mileage as well. They switch between V8 and V4 mode. The one I was driving showed over 20 mpg's on the highway and averaged over 17 mpg over the 3/4's of a tank I drove it. Now bear in mind this was a crew cab, 1/2 ton, 4 wheel drive so 17 mpg average is pretty good and better than the 15.4 mpg average my friends F150 Eco Boost is averaging and better still than the 14 mpg average my 2010 F250 was getting (Super Cab with the 5.4 V8). Plus the Chevy rides better than the F250.
I don't know how much revision GM put into the new models, but my dad's '09 Sierra has an awful ride with its Z71 suspension. Felt every bump when I drove it when the I30 was getting bodywork done and some were pretty sharp. His 22's probably don't help either.
Anyway, very nice choice! I haven't been a fan of Ford's Super Duty grilles and when I saw the 2014 Chevys at the NY auto show the interior looked great. I remember my dad's truck did show 20MPG driving on a main road (and 99 coasting down the highway). Good luck with it.....for however long that may be

by the time you're done it'll be like someone let you borrow the truck and drive it for free, or you'll put some cash back in your pocket for a down payment on the next one.
