Custom Tail Lights and Head Lights by AckTL05
Hey first off Id Like to say you do some really great work. I know I'm probably a month or so late but do you have any of the headlights or tail lights still in the picture. Or do you have any headlights available for an 2006 TL? Mine need to be replaced and I would like to go with custom ones. I'm currently stationed in Europe, Do you have any issues shipping to an APO address? Its not much more if any than shipping to a standard mailing address in the states but I have a lot of issues with companies shipping stuff to an Army Post Office.
Im not sure what direction to go with tails because i havent seen many pics of a AM with custom Tails so far.I had a similar set on my AM. I can show you, just email me at BRUCEJTL at GMAIL

Has there ever been tails, reds in particular, that have had part of the bezel painted and part not? Or some kind of combo like that...
I'm also curious what doing an inner clear piece in red nite shades looks like as opposed to black. I'd think red inside of red would still give that "darker" look from the outside...
I finally started taking my extra set apart last night. Got the lower nubbins removed for easy swapping and half of one light cut open. You guys are right, it is time consuming. I consider myself more skilled then most but I totally endorse the idea of letting Bruce mod your tails. Especially for his skill level and what he charges.

LOL, I look forward to whatever you come up with. I had actually considered doing partial black out on the bezel before, but behind the red, you have to be pretty extreme to make a visual impact. DO keep us posted on what you come up with though, please.

Yes J and so are you. The point was John Q should pay Bruce for this mod and not attempt it themselves. I'm sure you agree on both accounts.
I just want something different that the next guy doesn't have. I'll play around with the bezel and if I don't like what I get, I'll just rock the super reds and then mod my current set a different way.
Edit: And I did edit that post. I make posts on the phone while in the head then edit my mistakes when I get back to my desk. Lol

You'll think I'm totally nuts but I actually considered once to the bare LED board with no bezel or diffuser and exposed signal bulb. Kinda like a Terminator style.

I got the idea once when I had the internals removed on a clear lens set...looks very cool, because on NBP, it looked like the led board was just floating on the car.

I'm not sure what you mean? The bezel is already chrome, it's the outer lens being read that gives it the red look. Do you mean swapping out that chrome bezel on another tail that has a clear lens?
