New Wheels!!!

So I ordered my new wheels today! I'll be getting them put on tomorrow or Saturday...can't wait! It's been a long process. I had a hard time finding something I really liked that wouldn't break the bank.

I went with the XO Paris in machined / black; 20 x 8.5 all around; +35 offset; with some Hankook Ventus V4's in 255/35/20.

Here are some pics:

Once they're on the car I'll post some pics.

No, car is stock height and will stay that way.

I wasn't going for protection from curbs, I wanted more rubber on the road. I'm downgrading from my Michelin PS summer tires so I wanted to offset that a bit with a little wider tire.

Can't wait to see them Bronco. I can see there's a new trend on 20' wheels in the TL section.

I went with 20's just because I had the 19's...wanted to go a bit bigger. Also, I found that the tire selection for 20's is much bigger than for 19's.

I paid $2,200 for everything (rims / tires / TPMS swap from old rims / lugs / hub rings / mounting & balancing) and I'm going with Hankook Ventus V4's.

Thank you all for your comments.

I'm really hoping my work schedule isn't too crazy today because I don't think I can stand waiting until tomorrow to get them put on.

Yeah, I like that design. The more I looked at aftermarket wheels on the TL the more I liked the 10 spoke.

She hasn't had the inaugural bath yet, but here she is. I'm definitely a fan. I like the beefier tires too.

The look looks great, I know you don't want to slightly lower it, but it would really pull it all together!

The new wheels look great on the cbp color ucf. Nice choice, and sure a drop would look good - same thing with my tl.

Looks great!

4G TL looks best in black (IMHO) and those wheels are a nice touch.

Bronco, those wheels class up an already classy TL! What a perfect compliment to your beautiful car.

Well I finally drove my car a bit more today and so far so good. The tires are quiet and there is no noticable difference going over bumps as compared to the lower profile, though coming from 19's with a 40 series tire it was expected.

It feels at some speeds as if one or both of the rear wheels could stand a second trip to the balancing machine. It's not consistent though...kinda weird. I'm gonna pay close attention to this as the week goes on.

All in all I'm very happy. I find myself coming to this thread a lot to check out the pics, haha. I guess that's better than walking out to the parking lot a dozen times to look at them. I'll save that for when I'm at home and the garage is much closer

Thanks again for all your comments!

I'm not a huge fan of the red tail lights. Mainly because I like the rear silver piece to break up the back a bit and it matches the stock tail light nicely. If I ever paint that rear trim CBP then I would consider the red tint.

Bronc, you don't know me but take this very seriously cause I know it is absolutely a fact...the guy across the street in the mini-van has been watching your car with very jealous intent! I'm just sayin, if it goes missing, you know where to start lookin! LOL Hey, what's the tint you put on? Darker than 35%?

Haha, too funny! I knew that minivan owner was hawking

The tint is 35% and it was on the car when I bought it. I plan to have it removed and put on 15% because it's too light for my taste.

Thanks for the comments! Again, as much as I like the look of a lowered car it's just too impractical IMO.
