E30 vs 3G TL-S + 3.0T Audi S4 + Evo X

So the other night I was cruising along the 60 freeway, heading towards LA, when a NBP 07-08 TL-S (6 spd, I believe) came up fast on me. So I grabbed his attention by downshifting and taking off. He tried to keep up but alas, couldn't.

So we then went from a 70ish roll, I pulled about 6-7 cars on him, maybe more, kinda lost count.

On the last run, I decided to give him a chance. Instead of being in 3rd like I'm supposed to at 70, I put it in 4th. When we went, this allowed him to stay door to door with me, but by the time we hit around 90-100 I started reeling him in and putting buses on em.

Also raced a new 2010-2011 Audi S4... we only went from about 70-90ish due to traffic, but I put a car or two on him in that short span of time.

Finally, raced a friend's Evo X.

He had: 1 passenger, 320 whp, 370 wtq

From 70-120 we were even, at 120 he begins pulling on me.

Got any speedo vids? 2 lengths on a new S4 from 70-90? Either he wasn't racing or your claim is exaggerated. And unless you're running 12s trapping 110+, I have a hard time believing you put 6-7 lengths on a 6MT Type S. Maybe it was auto which is totally believable. And again, stock Evo Xs are trapping 102-104 with what, 250whp?

Not trying to sound like an ass, but I have to see some speedo runs to believe this. No offense.

+2 on speedo vids/slips/go-pro vids of these runs

In his other thread he mentioned being 2600 lbs or so @ 230whp...that should be good for high 12s, no?

Either way, I'd love to see it in action.

^ What happened when you ran? I understand it being a quick car at 2600lbs and 230ish whp, but the new S4 traps like 107-108. To put 2 lengths on him in that short a time span means his car would be a LOT quicker than the S4. I can't see that happening. If I'm wrong, kudos, but it doesn't seem likely. I hope you don't think I'm trying to be a d1ck OP. Just hard to believe, that's all.

great kills, but as Sonnick mentioned 2 cars from 70-90ish...I mean prolly a chance you got a jump on him and he reacted really slow.....on a side note those new S4's which I believe are V6 boosted are slower than the V8 S4's they replaced
