For those of you who are curious if the LED fades faster than OEM bulbs:

Check out this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rl-2005-2012-76/led-bulb-question-826215/

"T10 led" and "31mm Festoon" are all you need to search with. You need 10 T10 bulbs and 2 31mm Festoon bulbs." - oo7spy

The 31mm replaces the two front interior map lights.

Where do all 10 T10's go?

2 in the rear interior
2 in the two front doors
2 in the two rear doors
2 - License plate
2 in the trunk

Ah yes, but I mean what source did you go to...for example VLED, superbrightleds, putco, etc.

phantom -

how do the ones in the doors, map, and license plate look at night? too bright? to "bluish"..

I like the look of the slightly bluish / super white bulbs... similar to what some high end cars have OEM... I saw a lexus the other night and his license plate lights looked like super white LEDs..... they don't really look blue..but they are NOT yellowish like our OEM lights...

when you ordered your bulbs were they "super white" or what color were they classified as on the website?

how to the leds from yhoru source, superbrightleds compare to the vled place that others here h ave used?? anyone know?

i'm about to order some.

out of curiosity - what did it cost you to get all these bulbs?

Sorry for all the badgering, but there are so many T10's

I would assume we are talking warm white whp6

or

the lower power Whp5

I was actually looking at these...because of the much higher output specs, but they may be too bright...

Thanks in advance!

No worries. I was in your shoes a couple of weeks ago and I badgered everyone here.

This is what I got:

T10: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...%2FWLED-x5.htm

These will replace:

2 in the rear interior
2 in the two front doors
2 in the two rear doors
2 License plate
2 in the trunk

31mm Festoon: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...on_3022-xx.htm

These will replace:

2 rear interior map/ dome lights.

All of them in NATURAL WHITE. The Natural White is more like our headlights (5500K to 6000K color). They are not as bright as the OEM bulbs, but not much dimmer. I actually love the brightness of these LED's because not only do they cast a nice "white" light in the interior, but it's also just the right brightness for me, so I'm not blinded by the sudden brightness of the OEM bulbs when I open the door.

The puddle lights on the doors work well in the dark by casting light over a fairly large area on the ground.

The trunk lights are definite dimmer than the OEM, but it's sufficient for my needs.

The license plate lights are just perfect.

I got everything in natural white because I wanted the "natural" lighting and not the "mood" coloring.

Hope this helps.

Update:

I installed Sylvania 7440ST SilverStar to replace my reverse lights, and man, what a night and day difference!

I also installed Sylvania 9005SU SilverStar Ultra to replace my high beams. They were a bit of a pain to install, but not bad. They are brighter, but they're not HID-color matching.

I have the same high beams and am rather disappointed. HIDs just blow them out of the water.

For me, it was an improvement from the OEM bulb, so I am ok with it. However, I was told these bulbs don't last as long as OEM's, so I have a feeling I'll be replacing these in the near future with something different.
