I might be going out on a first date and it's been a while since I've done this.I have a few basic ideas on what I may do but beyond that I'm pretty clueless. As of now, I was thinking about taking her to Texas de Brazil in Orlando, and then maybe going for a stroll at a nearby park or something of the sort (we would be driving from daytona beach down there and back).

Maybe I might keep it to Daytona Beach and keep it local since there are a few things to do here, but we both live in the daytona area so I doubt she want's to see the same stuff over again...

If it helps she likes dance and is involved with dance (IE Ballet, freestyle, etc and is an instructor at a local dance studio) so I was thinking about maybe taking her to a dance recital or something but I doubt I can find tickets for one by Wednesday (June 2nd)...

Any ideas on something romantic that has made a good impression? Any tips? Right now I'm absolutely clueless and don't even have the slightest idea of what I'll be doing...

FYI just so you know we are a bit young (20's-30's range)

sounds like you may be trying to hard.

she already likes you, thats why she is going on a date with you.

take her to a nice dinner and have a great conversation. she will remember how you make her feel, not what you did for her.

Well she was surprised I asked her out so I'm hoping that is the case. I've never been good with the whole "dating" thing so I'm trying to figure it out before I make an ass of myself. I plan on keeping it local (so less driving time so we can enjoy a bit more) and keeping it to a dinner on the beach or riverside.

Of course, I'll be taking the 7 so we can drive around in comfort (daytona roads aren't the smoothest in the world...)

Whiskers, it's going to be a date, not a one night stand or something of the sort!
