Mine needed to be trimmed as well, only on one side. As you said, it was just the gel coat. My car has never been in an accident (that I know of).

If I can get the trunk straightened out then I may end up putting it on the car. But as of right now Im looking into a respray for the whole car. The clearcoat is horrible.

I'm happy with my hood, it does have some minor imperfections but I can live with them. Plus I know a good paint guy and I plan to have him fix them whenever I get around to re-clearing it.

So civic now that I've seen the pics of your trunk, I see that my driver side corner is not that low. Whoa.
The area at the bottom of the trunk and tail light area look the same as mine. But it looks like my passenger side corner is up way higher than yours. I will try and get some pics up tomorrow.

I also forgot to mention the ordeal it took me to make the trunk lid lock closed. Had to adjust the latch again and again. Ended up bending the latch so it would line up with the lock properly. The lock by the way was all the way down and in the correct position. It seems like the whole trunk lid needs to be pushed down half an inch or more. My bump stops are out too btw. The bolts are threaded all the way down. There's just no other way to bring it down to be flush??? wtf?

Thats why I didnt even continue with the install. The trunk was going to take alot of work to fit correctly. Have you contacted ViS at all?

makes me reconsider the VIS trunk... disappointing. maybe you just need some tips from them. try calling let us know how it goes.

It does. Almost too much. I have yet to drive with them because the o-rings between the two halfs were leaking. I should have it up and running tomorrow. Its a shame its going to rain otherwise Id wash the car.

They still look small in the 19s, but Im still planning on downsizing to 18s, so that should close the gap a bit.

also those tires look small in that picture compared to the wheel well (might be cause it is lifted on you jack)

Still havent decided if I am going to do the work to make them fit, so Im not talking until I make my mind up about them.

However I did make my mind up about something else.

The turbo is not going on the car. Its going to be too much for the chassis with my motor. Instead I am going all motor. My goal is 325whp. Its a bit lofty, but I think eventually I can hit it, especially with some items Ive heard rumors about

So Ill be putting the turbo up for sale in the coming weeks.

Your paint looks fine in the pictures?

If you go to the Wash & Wax section, there are ways to revive the actual paint like this:

Those calipers look great man! What made you go with blue?

And I was looking forward to seeing the turbo on the car but understandable why you are opting to skip over that.

Yea, I bought them with the intention of having them powdercoated a different color, but the the blue is actually a nice shade. Its not too bright, and when I clean my car up and polish it again the blue flake will match somewhat.

I plan on doing something with the rear sometime soon. I also have my eye on another set of wheels, but these are aftermarket

Love the car, I'm dying to know where did you get the steering gauge pod from.

Me neither. Im thinking about getting either a fuel pressure gauge or oil pressure gauge to fill the void, but I want to match the AFR gauge I have for it. He already told me he can adjust it for the new gauge.

I left a message for him on the V6 site, I really appreciate all your help. It kills me that the Cl's only came with a water temp gauge.

I'm happy that at least it came with a water temp gauge as well as a tach but come on it should have come with oil and voltage gauges. Oh well .
I'm looking at Autometer gauges as we speak.

would of loved them too, don't get me wrong (especially the oil pressure), but remember they still make these cars for the masses, and for most people the fewer gauges the better, so idiot lights work better for them, even then quite a few people will just keep on driving when they come on, so more gauges would be even more pointless for them

let alone cheaper for a manufacture to put idiot lights in, then it is to put put gauges in
