D-Civ: You have a couple different options here to choose from, lemme just show you and you can tell me which one fits your style.

Alright so first we have the rare "I don't want to be seen cause im nervous" look:

- A great look for that growing teen who is still in their shy stage.

Next we have the exclusive "Mideval Times" look:

- A great look for that Ancient times "Enthusiest".

Next we have your mentioned "Bear" rims look:

- A perfect gift for that neighbor who obnormally admires little kids.

Next we have the " 40" Tire Whore" look:

- An important item to have in order to brag on rim size.

Next we have the "Positive Camber" look:

- The cool "New" look in the tuner world.

Finally we have the "I'm Jacked" look:

- If you have this look then your pretty much fucked.

That last one is the ultimate in rim/car security, they took them in with them!

Can't steal the rims/car like that!

How the hell does a thief get the tires on a street in the open like that? Makes me nervous thinking about it.

LOL

DRIVE THROUGH CAR WASH!!!

No sir. They are AIDs to paint. I refuse to take my car through one. The closest Id ever come is one of those diy car washes with the pressure washer, and thats only to get the salt off the car if I cant wash it by hand.

How dare you insult me like that!

And yes, Im seriously considering moving to Vegas, although Arizona is now an option as I have a job offer there. It all depends on what happens in the next few months as far as work goes. Im looking for either a non-contracted position or my brother and I may start our own business. If neither of those pan out, west coast here I come!

Dont remind me. I added up the money I spent on both my cars and my bike and I wanted to kill myself. I couldve been rolling in something much nicer.

Then again, I love the CL, so I just figure while I have it I might as well make it something special to me.

You jinxed it!

On another note, SHE RUNS!!!

Fuel systems must hate me.

-This past summer my motorcycle stranded me on the highway about 12 miles from home with a burnt out fuel pump.

-A week after getting the CL back from Paul I lose fuel pressure and my stock pump died, stranding me 5 miles from home.

-I get the new pump and FPR installed and then one of the fittings decides to spring a leak.

I roamed all over Richmond yesturday chasing down leads because no speed shop or parts store had the correct fitting (6AN 90* female compression fitting). I finally found one yesturday at a store that was literally around the block from my house. I didnt even know the store existed.

So today I installed it, had to charge the battery (car sat for nearly 3 weeks) and finally started it. I dialed in the fuel pressure and it sounds better now then it did before.

That is until I tapped the gas and the fucking IAC valve went apeshit

The saga continues....

This is the downside of turboing cars. There reliable, but then when you start doing bigger mods like this, things start to break oftain.

I still think it's worth it never the less

Check for vacume leaks, did you by chance knock off a vacume hose when installing the fuel lines?

I checked everything this afternoon, no leaks, no missing hoses. I plugged the IACV and the idle dropped to normal, so I put my ghetto IACV block off on so the car is driveable and Im going to pick a new IACV up tomorrow. Hopefully that will fix it.

The guys over at LEDautomotive are having me test out a new LED for the gauge cluster. They should be here this week sometime. They should be brighter, not like the old LEDs werent though.

Big props to Nate over at LEDautomotive. If you want LEDs that just drop right in and have a warranty, give them a visit.

One of the wheels came in today.

The 18" Legends weigh in around 26lbs without tire, Im not sure how much the 19" Devotions weigh. These weigh.....

17 pounds!!!!!!

And yes, they are 18x8 wheels. And yes, they are OEM wheels (not Honda though)

So, Fries, thats 9lbs per corner, for a total of 36lbs weight savings. Thats about a pound more of savings compared to the cf hood and trunk.

Test fit coming either this evening or tomorrow.

maybe you should do everything for an even larger weight savings

and you obviosally have enough $$$ to do everything, or else you would have had to wait for your hood to have been sold
