FPR was replaced. Now one of the fuel lines are leaking.

Gotta wait for a ride to go up to the store in hopes that they have the parts I need.

Lol

Thankyou and sorry for the motivation

Ive go so many things on my mind right now with this car, not to mention my other "side projects" Im trying to finish. Oh, and I need to fit work in there somewhere too. I want to get the CL "done" no later then March, because thats when I really want to start working on my other car. I was supposed to do my motorcycle during the winter, but I havent started that yet so I may postpone it until next winter

Thats partly why I got rid of the turbo kit. It was costing me to much money. Sure it was fun to drive and crazy fast but the cl is my daily driver and it seems I was dumping alot of money into it because something always came up or needed to be adjusted or fixed. So im staying all motor this time around.

I picked up a ViS carbon fiber hood awhile ago. I finally mounted it, but I dont like it, so its up for sale.

Yea, I got the trunk too. Its not for sale right now though because the one I got was distorted and didnt fit correctly. Im going to get a new one that fits properly and then put it up for sale, or just try to return it. And you know all about the first hood I got. This is a different one that was actually built correctly.

get it painted then, so it still helps with shaving some excess weight off our cars (why don't they make one for the tl )

I thought about that, but I already have a painted hood. So I might as well use it.

And more importantly, the money could be used in other places.

It was more then any other mod that I have done. I really dont want to advertise the price as its not my place to do so. Not only that, but I needed some other parts replaced that drove the total cost up.

Contact NVA-AV6 for a quote. He did my build.

you are shaving some unnessicary weight from the car, without having to compromise on anything other then your credit card

Yea, but its maybe a 20lb difference. Thats new wheels at 5lbs a corner (achievable). Or just pulling the stereo out. Id save more weight by just pulling the passenger seat out.

I didnt buy the hood for the weight savings. I bought it because I love carbon fiber. It just isnt meshing with my car. I prefer a classier appearance with it. I dont want any more attention from people/cops (cops arent people, theyre robots). The drop and the rims are enough for outward appearances.

thats alot for a single mod though, and you already have it too (and still cheaper then another set of wheels)

Wait till you see my next set, and the cost of them

And 20lbs really isnt alot of weight when we're talking about a car that weighs nearly 3500lbs stock. 20lbs wont make a huge difference. If it were a 100lb difference, it would stay on the car. As a rule of thumb, 100lbs is the equivalent of .1 of a second in the quarter. 20lbs would be .2sec of that, if Im lucky.

+1 on the stock hood. Your car looks sick as far as exterior goes.
