handling in winter weather

handling in winter weather

Hey I have bought a 04 TL 3.2 6clyd and I live in NewEnland and the weather here is snowy and crazy. I was looking to find out how it handle and how it performance in the winter weather seeing how its a front wheel drive car? please help me out

handles pretty good as long as you have nice set of tires..not summer high performance otherwise you will hate it. its a front wheel drive so it moves pretty nice in the snow...im from nyc and we have some bad weather up here also

if you do get winter tires for your car get some slightly skinnier ones that will let the car cut down into and bite through the snow

Wide tires = you ride up onto the snow and get no traction.....

I've driven my TL for 5 northern Ohio winters. I've never had winter tires and have not really had any real problems. As others have said, front wheel drive and stability control make it a fairly easy drive. I'm sure it would even be better with winter tires.
