Vinyl Hood Overlay group buy interest

Trying to see if there would be enough interest in getting BlueBatmobile to produce a vinyl gloss black hood overlay that would cover the center raised portion of the hood and taper into and under the front silver trim on the hood.

Sample picture below but would be gloss. Sorry for the poor Photochop.

There is an idea too ... could be made in a 2 part kit and bought either way

Do you have an example or P-Chop pix?

If the price is good, I'm interested. I already got my roof vinyl, so might as well try the look of the hood with it :-)

No photo crop but if you look under the front grille the upper part of the hood rounds around like a couple inches below and couple inches on side. It pertrudes out of the front bumper just like the hood does.

I just bought a large sheet off a seller from the black market, and i did it myself. pretty simple process, just gotta be careful when you do the cutting, be patient and have a friend help you. And i recommend taking out the xm antenna b4 applying it. I got to lazy to remove the antenna b4, and when i had to cut the sheet around the antenna, it didnt cover the whole area around the antenna. Its only visible up close. but for a 1st time, I was satisfied :-)

I recommend keeping it vinyl unless u plan on keeping the car for life. Painting it decreases the value of the car if u plan on selling it in the future.

I have contacted bluebatmobile to come to the thread and give us a price ..

Which design is prefered .. I like the one on the grey car .. my only worry would be the front edge rolling back but I have not had an issue like that with any of the vinyl overlays I have used .

if u plan on getting the roof only, i think bluebatmobile has it pre-cut so it will be much easier. then having to cut it urself. pretty simple just have patients and dont rush it.

If you contacted him for pricing on this , I have too .. and it takes a bit to work it up etc ... 6 of us pestering him for prices isn't constructive.
