Airbag Logo Mod for Early 2G CL/TLs, ect.

This mod is for 01-02 CLs, early TLs and any other Acura with the Acura logo but without the chrome logo like on newer acuras. This mod was first revealved at the January 2009 sacramento/elk grove meet.

I recall reading a thread about a member thinking about taking the emblem/logo from an 03 airbag and putting it on his 01-02. I admit that I wanted the look of the 03 airbags too, but sticking anything that hard on the airbag is absolutely dangerous if it goes off. The only reason 03s can do it is that the logo stays on the airbag. Fast foward a few weeks, i'm working on my custom center caps and an idea pops into my head and this mod was born.

The result is a safe and very inexpensive mod. It can be put on easily and in less then a minute. Made from vinyl, the logo is stated to have a 7 year outside life. It can be removed easily, yet stays put very well.
Mine is in black so it stands out with my parchment interior and to match the exterior of my NBP CL. I am sure you can get these in a light silver color to look like newer acuras or other colors like white, red, blue, green/dark green, grey or even orange for PDG cars.
If people are interested, I can contact my seller for color choices. I am not sure exactly how much they would be but it would be around 1 dollar each.

Interested?

Mods: I am not trying to be a sponsor or make any kind of profit from this mod. If this is in the wrong place (like the BM) please move it there for me or if this is inappropriate altogether, then you may close.

lol well thats what i got when i asked for black. The lighting is also very bright making it seem lighter.

im a little surprised no one has thought of this yet or done it. Its really quite simple if you think about it.

I agree it looks better from far away...

My interior is black so I don't know how I could incorporate that into my look.

Thats why I said there are different colors avaliable, to match the exterior or a light silver to create a chrome look.

the black looks grey because of the bright lighting.
