TSX 500 mile club

Last week, comming up from Charlotte, NC (I77, I81, I78) to New York, the yellow light went on at 540miles and I filled up in Perryville, NJ (I78) at 608 miles. I could have gone a little further but didn't want to chance it.
Mileage for the 700.5 total mile trip came out to be 33.6 MPG. Most of the miles were at 65 to 70 mph on cruise control. I was surprised at getting over 32 because NC and Virginia were hilly interstate miles and PA was not flat either.

If you cannot reach 500miles on a tank during a long road-trip, you probably have some problem that needs to be addressed.

Followed some of the advice of synthetic, and moved up a couple slots on the list... Averaged true 34.49 mpg, so I again filled up to early, I could have driven another 60 miles. Who-hoo! I've moved to the 5th spot!! Synthetic, I'm after you!!

I went to Vegas for business this past week, and had another 500+ miles to a tank. This is my 3rd and the most miles to a tank so far. I've got 500, 503 (33.0mpg), and this time is 519 (33.3mpg). BTW, my car is 6MT with 66k miles on.

I renewed my membership and jumped up a place in the rankings. I didn't even know we had a ranking system till I checked back in. Here's my pic and info:
-2005 Auto w/nav.
-102,000 miles still on original spark plugs
- I always run 92-93octaine!!
- I put 17 gallons in the tank on that fill up. (My buddy calibrates gas pumps and told me not to "top off" when gassing up. He said that the holes at the tip of the gas nozzle are vacuum holes that vacuum that gas back up in to the tanks. He said if you were to leave the nozzle in a bucket full of gas that it will suck that whole bucket of gas up. It's a safety feature.)
-I'm a sport shift aholoic. I use instead of my breaks most of the time.
-Typhoon CAI only engine mod.
-I kept the RPMS below 3500 as much as I could and tried to run at about 2000-2500rpm.
At 1 point I was on track to get 576miles on it, but needed to i-Vtech
Those miles are mostly ALL highway miles.

I remember you had a thread once where the picture you have on your profile appeared along with others. Do you have link? Also, where in the United States was that picture taken with the mountain in the background?
