Clunk noise when braking and hitting a pothole?
I've noticed when I am doing anything more than a very soft brake, I can hear a "clunk" noise coming from the suspension or brakes and running over a nice sized crack in the street. Often this happens when going up a curb/driveway. Doesn't happen all the time. Never hear any noises like this otherwise. Is this the brake pads shifting in the calipers? I know there is a little bit of wiggle room in them. Yes, they calipers are secure and not loose.

I was at the dealer and they looked at the mount and said it was fine. I don't know if he looked at all of them or how extensive he looked. I wish there was a tutorial that held my hand to point out the mounts and what to look for.

lol I did this exact same thing to a guy in my company, emailed a google search url. He called me up piiiiiissssseed. I looked at the mounts for this engine via the parts diagram and their are a lot. Can you suggest common ones for failure?

check the front and rears
From your previous thread, i think it's the rear but check the front as well.
