Hey gang, here is a new one for you:

The button that resets my odometer (and also adjusts brightness of interior lights) broke on Saturday. I went to reset after a fillup, and my fingers were a bit sweaty, and the rod stuck to my finger tip, and pulled out. The end that slides over the shaft was broken off at an angle, and I assume the rest is stuck inside somewhere. Any one seen this? I am assuming it has been broken for a while, as I had trouble adjusting the brightness about 6 months ago. If the small piece that's left fell off the shaft, I should just be able to slide a new on one, but if its stuck, is it dash disassemble time?

Crud, my local shop says the replacement part requires replacing the whole speedo. Not sure I believe them yet, but not terribly worried about it right now, bigger fish to fry.
