I didn't realize the trip odometer reset everything when it passed 1000 miles. I knew the miles started over but didn't know it reset the average speed and the average MPG.

I just happened to look at the display right after the 1000 miles and it showed my average MPG to be 65. I was going down a hill and it didn't take too long to get back to 28 MPG average.

 

Wouldn't it have been nice for the average to be 65?

 

my average is been clocking at ~22 and that's recently with all the freeway miles that I've been doing. usually it was ~19-21.
