Pleasent surprise when my salesman called and asked if I was ready because the car is here. Everything was straight up, No Mark up, no $980 for lifetime nitrogen. I have no pictures to share other than what has already been seen for the last year. The drive, sound and feel is outstanding and well worth giving my 07 TL Type-S a rest every now and again........cheers to those patiently waiting. They're coming.
Grats on the new car! Take care of it and enjoy it, if you hold onto it as long as you have 2007 there is some possibility this is your last pure ICE car you own.
Anyone order the Type-S with the underbody kit? I've always thought it should come standard with it as it looks too similar to an A-spec otherwise, and also cuz it looks imbalanced with only the front diffuser.
Sadly it seems the front diffuser gets in the way of the front underbody pieces so those aren't offered in the configurator, but it would def look even better with them (though I'm sure someone will make it work somehow).
Looks like there's at least one out in the wild and it looks pretty good...
If I ever decide to buy the Type S, there's not a shred of doubt in my mind that it will be in Tiger Eye Pearl. I am in love with that color.
I agree. I didn't care for it at first, but it's really growing on me. That color is a head turner. Nice car OP and congrats. If I were in the market for one, it would be this or white. As I scroll through the pics of this white one, it really is an unbelievably good looking car, generally speaking. I know it's easy to bash how much better the performance could have been, but it would probably be a great car for me, as a sporty daily driver that may get some looks and should prove to be pretty reliable. The pricetag is the problem and any markup should be a dealbreaker for any buyers. Not sure it's even worth MSRP to me.
But I'm not in the market and even if I were, the Accord would probably be more attractive car at the price for what I want. I know we talk about HUD and other things the TLX lacks, but I do notice a couple things from these photos that the TLX offers and Touring doesn't. My seats do not have an AUTO button - it's either vented or heated and can only be changed manually. AUTO would be nice in the Midwest when you want heated in morning and cooled in afternoon. The TLX dash appears a bit nicer and more like a cockpit than the Accord. Lastly placement of the Qi charger in TLX (where phone is visible and accessible) is far superior than the Accord (which is neither).

Damn, you are too spoiled with the temperature controlled seats.

First world problem perhaps. What's wrong with wanting a car smart enough to know whether the climate control is blasting AC or heat and adjusts the seats accordingly? My 1G TLX did it. Maybe that's the kind of feature you don't know you miss until it's gone. I guess I have low tolerance for getting swamp ass when it's 90 degrees outside because my heated seats are still on high after a morning drive at 50 degrees.

Ventilated seats are on my must-have list. I have used the heated function about 12 times over the last 8 years on my TL. I use the "cooling" fans about that many times per month. They don't get ice cold, but they add just enough ventilation to make it more comfortable.
I like how the auto setting works with the remote start too.
That looks amazing...
These skirts should have been stock on the Type S. Even the 1st Gen ASPEC had some nice side skirts. I may have to have these installed.

Just ordered the rears...lol 😅, Got them from Honda discount only me for $328 shipped. Debating installation myself or take to stealership, but most likely will have them install.

The only accessory I'm having the dealer install is the side skirts. I hear those are on back order so it may be a bit so I'll have my car beforehand.
side skirts and the rear under spoiler are a most, u cant get the skirts and not the rears. it won't look complete as the sides look lower. cough up the extra 350 and get the rears
