Peeps, its been a while since I've been active on here; my apologies

However I need all of you 2/2.5G owner's help with an interior/ambient lighting question. I ordered a replacement LED light assembly for my front passenger side foot/feet lighting- the one right under the glove box. The wiring tail and LED assembly work perfectly fine, but I can't figure out where to mount it into.

There appears to be a square cutout in the kick panel however I can't find a separate part number for whatever fits in that cutout. Would anyone be willing to pull down their kick panel and snap a picture of it to see what I'm missing?!

Why don't you pull down your kick panel?

I have a picture of the passenger side kick panel from an install. I'll load it up later tonight if you still need it.

 

I guess I didn't make it clear enough, but I have the LED assembly itself, which is exactly what you're referring to here. However, the clip (#31) must bolt into something, and I can't see or figure out what that something is.



And it's not that I haven't pulled out the kick panel, au contraire. There's ZERO documentation on what or where the passenger's side LED mounts to, and that's why I asked if anyone could take a picture to see what my kick panel is missing. This is what mine looks like, and appears to have something missing from it:

 

You're missing the plate in which the LED light and clip is attached to. Then the harness plug plugs into there.

Part 11 in the diagram is the whole panel. Doesn't look like you can buy the square part alone.

 

Oh, you're right, my bad. yea I guess that's the case, but its not at ALL clear in the diagram

Luckily its only $35 or so...
