Would it be possible to make the rl rwd since we already have power going to the back wheels? I've seen it done on a few audi a4s where they just cut out the front driveshafts and welded the center diff, but I know we have a lot more electronics involved and idk what kind of effect the engine being transversely mounted would have since the a4's is longitudinally mounted. It's much more feasible and practical than converting a tl or a tsx say and as long as it's possible to do it how the audi owners have been doing it wouldn't even be too costly. Plus think of the hooning possibilities in even a lightly modded rwd rl with even a half decent suspension upgrade...it would be one hell of a sleeper. Another option would also be to get the sh-awd to be permanently rear biased like 30 front/70 rear or maybe even more.

Anything is possible, but that doesn't mean that it makes sense in even the broadest definition of the word.

Seriously, get a used 5-series. The reliability would be WAY better.
