Possibly the lowest mileage RL right now...

Anyone seen this RL on ebay...06 with 9,000 miles. This has got to be the lowest mileage RL around.

The car looks utterly intact in the pictures. No road rash on the wheels. No visible wear on the seat bolster. No nicks on the back bumper. It's like a time warp.

Wow.

Being that it's the original owner, it's weird that they have the wood steering wheel but don't have the wood shift knob. Maybe the owner didn't like the look of the wood knob or the wood knob is really that rare lol.

My RL looks almost as good as this one. I have a some very small rock chips on the front bumper, but other than that it is pretty new. My center console still looks fine, but the driver's side foam is flat. Are gloveboxes known to be a problem area? Mine looks perfect, probably I rarely touch it.

I think the center console leather tears and flattens due to how the driver rest his/her elbow while driving. It's always at the upper left lid.

The glove boxes are known to bubble throughout all years for the RL (05-12). It's just a defect on the material. Luckily mine is still in great condition.

That car is clean AF, but is way overpriced.

On a similar topic, my aunt has a 95(?) Jeep Cherokee with as stupid low number of miles on it because she only ever goes to the grocery store or mall, both within 10 miles of her. she changes the oil and tires based on age, not use.

That's the same thing with my parents. My parents has a 2012 Camry and has only 1,500 miles on it. They only drive it here and there since they have another vehicle.

Tito, it's PFM. I'd rather have an MMC CMBS anyway.

Then again, I was next to an RC-F multiple times today, and I must admit, God that is tempting even without a MT.

I called and spoke with the seller last week. It was located in Pittsburgh near me and he was listing the car for his parents who were planning on buying a loaded SUV. He was trying to get more money than the dealer was offering for their trade. He wanted 19.5k or he was trading it in for whatever they were giving him since they would get a tax break on a trade. Regardless, I passed on this car due to the price and bought a 2007 Black on Black Base RL from VA with only 14,300 miles on it. I flew down Friday and drove the car back Saturday.

Very clean! If you don't mind sharing, what was the final sale price?

That's a clean looking RL you have there. How do you like it so far? It looks like you had your eye on the RLs for awhile..just hoping a low mileage one would show up and it did in your favor.

I got it for low 16's and that included 4 brand new Michelin's installed at the owners prior Acura Dealer.

I have looked for a while for a 07/08 RL and finally came across two low mile cars within a 2 week period of time! Kind of odd I thought...

I am happy I got the 2007. Its non-tech, the price was way better, a year newer than the 2006, and I like the black on black a lot more.

I found the car on craigslist in Virginia Beach.

Congrats, I assume this was through a Private Owner, where did you find the posting?

I constantly search for RL's through autotrader.com and also, believe it or not, craigslist! I found this car on craigslist actually. I go to google and type exactly site:craigslist.org 2007 Acura RL you can replace the 2007 acura RL with anything you wish to search for. It will cover all states.

I found mine on CL as well, in Starkville, MS of all places! BTW, I would not be surprised if the 9K mile one doesn't turn up on autotrader or cars.com very soon as it sound like it went to a dealer.

Thanks for the reply and the tip. I was doing the same on autotrader and cars.com. What I found on craigslist did not meet my standards thats great for you.

Congrats again

I agree, the chances of finding a reasonable car or lets say legitimate ad on craigslist is lower overall. I always do my homework. I got lucky finding my car. It was listed and I called the number but before I did, I looked up the number to see if it matched the region. After that I emailed the owner. I was shocked he replied and it was a legible email! I called him and that is when things started sounding legit. Next a car fax, a call to his credit union, and friends at my acura dealer confirming the cars history made it all come together. Although its buyer beware big time, craigslist does have excellent buys.

Sounds like the same qualification steps/plan I use, congrats on finding a needle in a haystack.

Im still trying to learn how to use Craigslist effectively as that car never showed in my searches in VA where I live.

$16k is much better!

I sold my wife's 3 year old dealer maintained Civic EX-L on Craigslist. It happens, though not often.

Yes, I have found many times that local cars sometimes do not show up on a craigslist search around me in Pittsburgh.
I found this car searching like I described in an earlier post outside of craigslist. It was many pages deep in my search. It was listed in the Hampton Roads Norfolk VA section.

Ahh that explains it that field of view wasnt in my search criteria as I only did local searches.

Thanks for all the replies and enjoy the vehicle.
