Oil around transfer case/differential
Well one of my brothers picked up an 05 celestial silver/Taupe RL a few days ago, I was going over the car and everything checks out great but I found some oil around the rear transfer case, sort of like how you would have dirt/oil mixture around the oil drain plug.
Is this something that is common with the RLs? Any thing to be worried about? Recommendations?
The car is going in for service today, transmission oil flush, oil flush, coolant flush etc and while there I am going to have the tech look into it as well but wanted to get other owner's opinion before hand.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Burning Brakes
There's an apparently very low incidence of cars in the 05 and 06 model years having rear diff issues -- mine is one of them and is the first my very active dealer/shop has seen on an RL.
I heard a high whine that another here on AZ described as a tuning fork sound, and I correlated it to the driveshaft bearing issue that you'll find a thread about on here. After diagnostic on the bearing passed it, I asked them to check the diff (thanks to Robarsan, who posted it here) and it came back neg: gettin' a new one slapped in there this week.
I hope that gives you something you can use to justify a diagnostic on the diff and either put the issue to rest or resolve it.

^^ Thanks for the help bud, car went in for thorough service yesterday, engine oil flush, coolant flush, break oil change, transmission flush etc etc and everything else checked out just fine. Dealer stated that the car had been taken care of very well through one of their sister dealerships near Boston.
Now its a waiting game to see when the A-Spec wheels, body kit, deck lid spoiler etc show up in the mail
