Acura RL 05

I have slight light blue smoke coming from the exhaust when I floor it on the highway. But not always. It also doesn’t respond as quickly as I’d like to. When I change my oil, it’s not mixing nor do I see a leek on my floor but it runs out before my next oil change. Can someone help me with these issues?????

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a topic/technical issue which will require replies and discussion, this thread has been moved from the New Member Introductions forum to the model specific forum.

How many miles do you have on the car? Usually blue smoke means burning oil... not necessarily will your car "leak" oil... blue smoke means car is starting to "use" / burn oil - nothing unusual if you have super high miles, or if the previous owner molested it with laying on the gas pedal like a maniac lol

I recommend you top off oil in engine, and take measurements every maybe 2-3 months - see if the level of oil is going down - so if there is no leak, engine is burning oil - or starting to, since you do not necessarily feel the loss of power, but you may over time.

How old is the PCV valve? Sometimes changing that might help alleviate the burning. However, if it's from a more serious cause doubt that will fix the issue completely.
