will windshield tint affect sensors?
looking to add a tint to my windshield or going with the sun/california strip across the top
just wondering whether or not it will affect the camera/sensors located behind the rear view mirror?
anyone thats tinted or has experience with this, please comment!

Notice there are cutouts in the OEM tint where sensors are mounted so there may be good reason clear glass is necessary. It's easy enough to check though (and free). Visit a window tint shop and ask if you can have a couple of pieces of scrap from their dumpster. Put the tint on the windshield over the sensors (doesn't have to be pretty) and see if everything works as it should. Then you'll know for certain.
Cheers!

I wouldn't put any tint between the camera/sensors and the glass. There are folks who have had to have their non-OEM windshield replacements replaced because of bad optics in the replacement glass. This isn't to say there isn't good aftermarket replacement glass but there is a whole procedure related to calibrating the camera when glass is replaced. There is no way having tint is going to work or help with this. I would follow what Gadgetjq suggests and follow the cut outs of the OEM tint with whatever you were thinking of adding.
I see adding tint in front of the camera being like sunglasses or maybe more correctly a camera lens filter.
