Dealer service and TSBs
I posted this question in the thread for 2014 TSBs, but suspect not many longtime owners are reading that thread, as it's probably old news to them. So, sorry this is a bit of a re-post but it applies to a couple of different issues with my new-to-me used cpo RDX.
If on the TSB under Warranty Information, it says "Normal Warranty Applies", does that indicate that the repair should be made under warranty? (B15-023 for example). Also, if not covered, should the dealer be expected to do the work based on the time frame listed on the TSB?
This TSB appears to me (untrained eye) to be a half-hour job, under warranty. But my dealer quoted me 1 hour labor at my expense. I didn't challenge because I hadn't viewed the TSB. I haven't had the work done yet. So I'm wondering if (a) I should insist that it's covered under warranty and (b), if not, should I insist on 1/2 hour labor charge rather than 1 full hour.
Or, are TSBs just internal, informational docs that suggest no particular dealer responsibility? Any advice much appreciated.
