UR Crank Pulley is on...How I did the crank bolt..

Finally got around to putting on my UR Crank Pulley. Taking off the wheel and moving aside the fender liner was no sweat but that crank bolt was a beast! I borrowed the holding tool and then put an 18" one half inch drive extention on the bolt to get it out past the fender and on that a long breaker bar with a FIVE FOOT PIPE on that. With me holding the right angle square to the crank bolt (where the extension meets the breaker bar) my friend lifted that pipe up I'll bet three feet and BAM it sounded like a gun going off. Finally the bolt was loose, and everything went on easily after that. As expected the engine revs more quickly and pulls alot better going thru the gears. This is IMO a great mod. BTW I tried my 1/2" impact gun on that bolt first, useless. Then I tried alittle torch heat, still useless. Big leverage wins every time.

just go to home depot and buy a piece of steel piping 3-5 feet long with a ~1.5 inch ID

Should cost less than the cash in your wallet

1000+ lbs of torque w/ a snap on impact would also do the trick..

Yeah I think the way to do this better is a 3/4" impact gun with a 6"extention holding a 14mm impact socket, I just don't own a 3/4" gun!

instead of doing all that just jack up the car take off the wheel put the socket on the breaker bar and rest the bar on the ground u might have to lower the car alil and just crank the starter off in 2.5 seconds. took me 30 min to install the pulley and belts
