well, if you don't like it, but keep it anyway and put money into it you may regret it later. that's what happened to me with my TL. I eventualy decided to sell the TL and got a mustang to get my RWD fix for a while. Then bought a CL-s 6MT yesterday... time to sell the mustang!

-A G35 or 350z will only be faster off the line. A CL6 with a few bolt ons can easily run with them.
-both those cars suck on gas
-CL6 is rare
-resale on the CL sucks
-CL is simple and easy to maintain
Have you done any mods to your CL?

There are so many G35's and 350's out there especially in a manual. But how many CLS6's are there .. not a lot. 9/10 when I pull into a parking lot I know my car is the only one like it in the lot.
Buddy of mine has a G35 and its nice, we'll mess around through the lights, and I'm just as quick against him. He was pretty surprised that I was side by side with him the first time.
But at the end of the day, your the one driving the car on a daily basis so get what is going to make you happy.

The last midsize Acura coupe, only 3300 made, excellent style without being overstated, very rare and will always be in demand, fwd is way better in the winter. Resale at this point won't change much but availability will, every day those that are left are getting more miles/wear/tear and only becoming more scarce. Meaning if you get rid of your CL finding another when you want her back (and you will!) could be very tough.

You should definitely get rid of the CL6. What a crappy car. Can't believe you still have that clunker. I'll gladly help you out and take it off your hands (hey, I'm just a nice guy )
G35s are 3400 pounds as compared to about 3000 pounds for your CL. You'll feel the difference.
The styling of the G35 and 350 is meh in my opinion. I also hate the amber interior lighting the G uses (dunno if 350 is the same, but I suspect it is). They both suffered from oil consumption issues for a number of years. They're a dime a dozen. Finding an optioned out one is not always easy (where as your CL6 is loaded as-is).
Whoever said driving a RWD car in winter is hard has clearly never driven a RWD car in winter. If you have winter tires and you're not a tool, you'll be fine. But really, all other aspects of the G/350 would make me keep the CL6. The only thing I don't like about the CL is the dash- it just looks very dated. Other than that, it's fantastic.
Edit: whoops. Curb weight was way off. Thanks google still. G/350 is meh!!

By the way, that is a sick looking car. Looks to be in good shape from what I can see in the pics. You'd be a fool to sell it.

Both drink gas.
350Z looks like a turd, turns like one, and rides like one. The seats are nowhere near as comfortable for longer periods of time.
If you can only afford the 350Z/G35, you'll always wish you had the more powerful 370Z/G37.

Actually i think the dash is still rather unique. It has the driver orientated angle ala BMW M3, toyota Supra. It might not look like the 2015 cars but a LED upgrade to the interior and maybe even in the gauge cluster can update the car with a newer feel

I agree with the Unique part of your post. As for the rest, respectfully I don't want it to look like a 2015 car. Sometimes something comes along that was done right and it just really doesn't need to be messed with, the 2003 CL6 nails that description.

^why tho?
each one of us are like snowflakes. we are different.
to me, unless you are shitting on them boys with awesome ass expensive wheels, that need to be laid out on frame to look good, i would never get bags.
but if bags is something that you want to do, go ahead and do it.
you will need more awesome wheels tho....

a CL-S auto is 35XX lbs a CL-S Manual is 34XX lbs
I'll give you two reasons
1. no car payment
2. you know what condition the car is in

I can't think of any reasons. If you want to sell it then sell it. If you want to keep it and have room then keep it.

I sold my CLS6 1 1/2 years ago and went straight to an S2000.
If you want a little comfort & RWD, the 350Z & G35 would be worthy contenders .. but if you want a driver's car, get an S2000.
