So, About that Pinstriping

After 5 hours of tedious work, the de-striping of my car is complete. I used some chemical I found in my garage, used for Graphiti. I tested a spot and it seemed to work well. It wasnt too strong or weak.

I unfortunately picked up my car with a douchebaggy pinstriping on my hood. It NEEDS TO COME OFF.

What exactly is the solution you used and I'm assuming your pinstriping was painted on correct?

No, pinstripping isn't usually painted on. It's just some stupid vinyl stickers.

If it took him 5 hrs to remove it, it must have been painted on. Good pinstriping is painted on.

Maybe, however the pinstriping was fading in several areas, already making it look worse. I think it looks alot cleaner now.

I doubt it, nothing visible at least.

The only thing that I did notice was a shadow of the pinstriping, but I was expecting that. I am going to wax it tonight, see what happens. Might help.

I was scared to use any stronger of a solution, so because of that, it took time for the pinstrip to weaken and break down.
