Quick question: Where do I jack car from with floor jack?
I'm trying to jack the car and check some stuff out. Where the hell do I jack the rear of the car from with a 3-ton floor jack? Any pics?

Use the tow hook in the back under the trunk area, it should be very easy to spot. That is how the service manual suggests it. Don't forget to use jackstands after you have jacked up your CL!

should be fairly early in the service manual.. haha
but yeah, you can use the frame rails, but i bent my friends rails on his civic (not the actual frame, but the metal flaps that you would use for the scissor jack). i find that the front and rear jacking points don't raise the car enough to fit stands underneath. so i just jack the frame or any suspension pieces now.

the front goes as high as my 3 ton craftsman jack will allow...high enough for three notches on the jack stands(which is plenty). I'm just skeptical on using the tow hitch

I haven't had a problem jacking it up from the rear tow hook before, thats how I did it when I did my RSB with my friend on saturday. The spare tire didn't budge at all. I doubt the service manual would recommend that if it was going to damage the vehicle.
In the end, I had to jump on it like a mad monkey to get the spare tire well to settle down.

You should jack each side of the car up independently by the jack point in front of the rear tire. Then put a jack stand underneath one side... repeat the process on the other side. I wouldnt trust the car to balance on that little tow hook
