I don't want to sound ignorant but I don't know a lot of piston rods.

What would these piston rods do for the CL?

Just a stronger version of the OEM...able to withstand more strain?

Like if you push the motor to an extreme (more HP's).

^You're thinking in the right direction.

Since it's custom made there is potential it'll also give you more torque and hp.

Less friction. Also, they are lower compression pistons, perfect for boost. The problem with high compression boosted engines is detonation. When you lower the compression, you dont have to use such a high grade of fuel, so you can add more boost safely and still run pump gas.

Im getting very excited that alot more people are starting to swap the J into Civics/Integras. The aftermarket is just beginning to open up!!!

Thanks for the info.

Yeah...if that's the case with the motor swap then I guess we might be able to score some more options.

Thats a good start I guess. How much power could those rods handle? We need some pistons as well for us FI guys. Im surprized nobody sells a 3.5 stroker kit with all the parts needed for the swap in a single kit.

Pauter rods are pretty stout. They can handle a decent amount.

Holy Fu**, thats a grip of cash for just rods!!!!

You can buy 8 Forged Aluminium light weight rods that can handle in excess of 900 HP for around $800.00. For a SBC of course.

None the less glad to see someone making the stuff. I too would like to see a 3.5 or bigger stroker kit made.

Je might make some custom pistons, probably be really expensive.
