Anyone have a bored Tb/3.5-4' intake setup? Need help

Good morning! So I have a CLS6, mods include CT headers, MDX spacer, p/p manifold and runners, blox 74mm tb, p2r tb spacer, and 4' custom intake. I'm having problems finding hardware to hook up the iacv. (Need pipe fittings but haven't found them yet)If I bypass the iacv, it throws a code for iacv failure. Anyone have a solution for this?

It appears that gnuts has answered your question regarding the blox TB IACV matter in your other thread.

If you don't have one of these already, maybe it will help?

B Series Throttle Body on J32A2 Intake Manifold

However, I'm not sure it will work with your Blox TB.

I found a Blox discussion on the thread below:

You can get vacuum bungs online for before the throttle body into your intake, then I would tap a hole in your spacer or neck of your manifold. Maybe you could simply T into a vacuum line off the manifold at the rear?

Not sure if the blox tb is going to work. The bracket broke when test driving it. Really want to have the iacv work but may have to bypass it.

Seems an oversized TB. Has to kill throttle response for no real benefit. These engines aren't starved for air even with the stock TB.

Mount iacv separately with a aluminum plate or use a k-series tb like me with iacv at stock location.

Nope, not oversized. Did not affect my throttle response. I'm guessing you have not tried it.

I gained 12 peak hp with j37 IM and 74mm TB over bored oem tb, ported IM, MDX velocity stacks, and P2R plenums. My new IM is also 10-15 lbs lighter.

Got it to work and used the aem a/f controller but I think I'm going to need something different in the long run. Gonna leave it alone for now and do the final drive upgrade, change the motor mounts and subframe(found a 6speed subframe locally for 325). My 4" intake is a short ram one with a heat shield. Definitely felt the difference and almost feels like a Q50. Almost lol

If you could provide a little detail, that would be great.

This will be interesting as well. Don't forget to update your other thread with the specifics.
