just had a blox 74mm installed to a 4 inch intake. Having a friend install everything but he can't seem to figure out how to put back the Ivac.

 

The issue with those throttle bodies is the IACV (idle air control valve not Ivac) needs air before and after the throttle plate. So you need to figure that out. I thought some TB spacers had a threaded hole for just that.

Also this thread title is misleading.

 

The hole looks like its on the side of the spacer shouldn't it be facing upwards?

 

I think there's an issue with the p2r adapter plate. As of now it throws a CEL.

 

remove it and see if it throws a code.

DId you install a new TB gasket on each side of the spacer, I don't see it

 

Code is for iacv. So he's trying to get the iacv to work with the bigger tb and intake. The runners and manifold is also ported and I have an mdx spacer too. He's trying to run the coolant thru the throttle body.
