I thought so as well. Talked to my friend who owns the stereo shop at lunch, i may just do a 10"W6 he has in stock. Said he'd do a good deal on that for me. Not like i dont get awesome deal anyway from him, lol. Thats cool, i need to get some paint and match a few things i think. Though about doing my amps and EQ in white.

What you mean thats it? Sub wise im assuming. I may go with the one 10"W6. Have you ever heard a single W6 or W7 on their own? You dont need more than that for just an all around nice setup. Im not looking to go to competitions, just nice SQ.

Gotcha, well i dont have much explanation aside from not wanting to take up much room and im not looking for anything nuts bass wise. I've already had one 10"W7 in a sealed box on a 1000/1 and it was very loud. One 8"W7 in a ported box on a 750/1 would not be bad at all. My friend did 2 8"s in a BMW and it was pretty impressive.

and i got a 1-farad cap to go along with that also (and 8 gauge wiring to it)

that box basically fits perfect for a 2g at least, it does not even go onto the spare tire "lid", so i can actually still open it up no issues, and access the spare tire

and as far as the width of it, i can fit the my "emergency" kit (jumper cables, etc), right next to it, then the cap is on the other end/side, with it nicely centered also (basically every thing is against the seat back, with the rest of the trunk open for other shit)(but even then if i needed the extra room [or take it out for the track], i put quick disconnects on everything (amp and cap are mounted to the box btw), so it litially takes like a minute to remove it, then only like 2-3 minutes to hook it back up
and then to keep it from moving around too much back there, i just strap a bungee cord around it, and hook it to the seat back (bottom of the shelf actually), which keeps it in it's place just fine

Thanks for all the info/insight in regards to your setup. I change my mind alot in regards to stereo equipment so who knows what ill really end up with. I just like to have something planned out in advance though. Still really only want a single sub.

 

Jesse, you should get one of those stealth boxes that fit into the corner of the trunk...that would be clean as hell.

I'm thinking of getting a better 8" sub to fit in the stock spot, and a decent amp, but I also have a list of other stuff that I want to do hahaha!

i use to have two 12's from the previous owner, and the box was too big/heavy for my tastes, so now it's in kevin/souljah's car , and i have my single w6 12" in mine, which actually hits quite hard, once you find the settings in the headunit in order to crank it up (and i still got more to go on it, if i want too, it's my door speakers holding me back now, i get to volumn 23 or so, and they start to distort, but the sub is still good though)
