What everyone up to?
My Potenza RE960's kick ass...been on those for over a year. Had Mich Pilot Sport A/S on my stockies, those were pretty good too. I've heard good things about Yokos too though. If we didn't have to worry about snow I'd probably get the RE760's and call it good. But the 960's are really good all around.

No update on the shipment yet...hoping to have some kind of update today. A Fedex sticker on my door when I get home from work would be the best obviously, but I don't even know where the box is at the moment. Online update is confusing...we'll see what happens. Either way I'm anxious to get it as you guys can imagine.
Damn, I gotta chill with you fellas or something...I'm sure the view at Boheme was good
Never been there...
Exhaust actually shipped today, no bs. Talked to Marcus, got an understanding of how it works with ATLP production & his shop. Supposed to arrive the 24th.

naw i got a cream for that man
, i meant antzy or anxious. And it's not really "those" hoes when you know one and just happen to take her home from time to time... unless she brings a friend and i shouldn't have to explain how fun that is

TC...you're a lucky bastard my friend. Care to hook a brother up? LOL!
She gotta be clean though
Been to shotgun's (better in the past, I've heard it's declined), and PT's was a lot of fun the one time I was there...

s there

how many miles are you at currently....
first signs where at 93k on mine, but got 120k out of it though before i replaced it, it was still going good too, other then the fact that i could not go on any long trips though, because fifth was fucked, and would cause the tranny to
itself with enough time to heat upjust know it's not a cheap mod (mine came in at about $4500+) with most of the parts new at wholesale at the dealer, plus a used starter, an 05 tranny, then also the pedal's bracket used also, and the Clutchmasters clutch too
btw Flatirons has a set of shift cables in stock, they accidentlly had ordered 2 for me

I'm at 150k and now that it is more pronounced I can tell it has been slightly slipping for awhile. Honestly factoring in that it was in an accident I don't even think it is worth just replacing it with an auto again. I am going to have to do some thinking. If I do end up fixing it I am going to want to go all the way so I don't have to deal with it again though. Might think of third gen that already is a 6 with Navi, but honestly I don't have money for either right now.

kinda why i did the upgraded clutch right away (and why bother even buy a stock one , if i wanted to upgrade it at some point anyways), then it fucks up and i had to yank it again
, but luckily it was all covered by clutch masters though, so can't completely complain
now only if excellerate had come out with his mounts like a year ago
, i would not have had to buy the stock piece of shits
and as far as the accident with the tranny, as long as it did not hit it, it more then likely did not cause the issues with the tranny, they are not the best design out there to start with
accidents do devalue a car some, but as long as they are fixed correctly and quality parts used, not as much as you might think, compared to a car still with body damage
(my hood and such)
also you say the car is worth shit, BUT it is worth more to you running though, because you know what maintenance has been done recently, and IF you did buy a different car, some of it will have to be redone, to catch the "new vehicle" up on it's maintenance and such
also i will say though at roughly 150k-200k miles is about the point where major repairs are kinda decided on, depending on the condition of the vehicle;
if beat to shit, it's going to be less worth it; compared to a vehicle which has been taken very good care during it's life, it can be kinda a no-brainer to fix it
look at my wife's old 02 caviler (which i have taken care of since like 40k miles, but it now has 157k on it; and still running strong especially for the mileage), it's worth SHIT, BUT it is worth more to me/us because i can still daily drive it, while my TL sits
and all the maintence has been done to it, along with new shocks and such at like 100k or so, so it still drives and rides nice (i have driven many vehicles with only like 100k, and i am almost scared to drive them, because they have been beat on so much)(not as nice as the TL though, but then again it was quite a bit cheaper car to start with)
biggest thing with that caviler is that it has clear coat failure on the roof and hood, so it does look the best depending on how you view it
and the A/C system also does not work either, because the compressor seized up
, especially when you consider it is not used in the winter very much

Yeah I know what you mean, I have beat on it quite a bit and the rack is starting to leak along with two blown struts which I was planning on replacing with the springs... and the inevitable tranny now. We will see, thanks for the info.
