Seems that most people have Sundays off; so, lets just throw out Sunday, August 22nd...meet up at Noon? at _______________(I have never driven up to Estes Park, so got no idea where to meet up at)


Obviously this is just to get things rolling, if you guys have other suggestions im all up for it.

 

^^ Thats actually my birthday. Have to see what i got going on, that and im gonna be tight on cash for a bit until i get my stereo complete. I like to finish stuff as fast as i can once i start purchasing.

Estes Park sounds like a sweet place for a meet considering I've never been there before. Just replaced my rear spoiler, front grill, and side mirrors so my ride is ready to hit the road again. Hey Jesse, I'll contact you to see if you're going or not and maybe we could follow each other down again. But as ususal I will not know if I can go or not until the day before...hate my job, but pays for the TLS sooo... =)

 

Unless you wana do it on your birthday id be down for moving it up to the 29th. It would be cool to have you guys from Nebraska come for sure.

Sounds good, ill just have to see what i can do.

No need to move it. Just will have to see what i will have fundage wise. I purchased those amps last week, and i still have to buy a plane ticket to go to Seattle for the Nebraska vs Washington game next month so that is what will hold me back.

Oh, I think he had the dealer replace the parts on his car when he was up there that Monday, so OEM, but nice and new.

 

I hear yea man, I am in the same boat, bought too much stuff for the car, budget is kinda hurting .

Well, since we don't have a plan or a meeting point yet, I decided to try to figure out the best route and meeting point. Check out these maps and see if everyone agrees...




This is where we would meet, it is a big parking lot (not sure what building it is) right at Arapahoe Road and Highway 287 in Lafayette





Yellow line is the route we would take to get to Estes Park...







Not sure where we would go/what to do after we get up there, since the last time I was up there I was 11. So, toss out some suggestions on that as well.

 

That's fine with me.. Or we can meet somewhere around boulder, since that's kinda the way to get up there

 

I picked that area cause its all connected by the routes most people are coming from:

E-470 connects to 287 close to there
Highway 36 connects to 287 around the same area
Boulder is straight down Arapahoe Rd from 287 and connects to 66 right before Lyons

Plus the parking lot is big and the building is pretty noticeable from the road.

 

Somewhere like your place? I heard it's off the hook.

i won't be making it to this one either, too busy lately.

 

 

just saw this thread , and as far as me driving my car, kinda depends on if i am swapped yet or not (the auto is no way in hell going to make it lol)


but anyways about that part of leaving lafayette, there needs to be a slight change of routing, for a very fun section of road, has a couple of nice sweeping s-bends in it , only thing is that it is kinda bumpy though, but mine and souljah's cars have no issue with it though

Updated. Got 7 fo shos and 2 tenatives and 1 more than likely... pretty good turn out you should come!

Just color matched my plastic panels under the hood, doesn't look too bad, definetley needs another coat or two but I ran outa the paint
