I just started to experience these symptoms, I was not sure what it was.

Where can I find other TSB's? Can you provide link?

Thanks

The '06 TL Auto w/ Navi I had (from May 31, 2006 to Dec. 29, 2006) had this exact problem. I was getting ready to take it to the dealer when I traded it on my '07 TL-S.

My '07 TL-S 'Brembo's' work great!

Only way I know to review them is to open the link posted in a new browser window, then manually change the URL from a "-041" to a "-042" and so on through the catalog of TSB's.

I am sure there is a better way (a list or something), but I don't know where.

For the last few weeks my brake pedal has been slipping halfway to the floor before engaging.

When I push the brake pedal it seems to have no pressure, goes down about halfway, and finally activates the brakes. Once it engages, it never slips any further and holds pressure; however, the pedal is at least halfway if not more of the way down. If I let the pedal go and try it again, the pedal usually engages normally. Later on, it randomly happens again where it slips half way down. This is super scary when I go to brake and feel as if I have no brakes.

I'm not familiar with TSB's. Is it free for me to have my car inspected for this issue and does it cost me anything if they agree this is the issue?

You don't have to post the same issue multiple times. We're humans, and other than make people angry at you it won't help.

Out of warranty, it's up to the dealership to judge whether or not to charge you. In other words, they will charge you.

Make sure your car is affected by the TSB. This is applicable only to 04 to 06 TLs, both A/T and M/T.
Because you have the same symptoms doesn't mean you have a problem with the VSA module as in the TSB.

It definitely sounds like you have air in the system, so you have to check if you have any brake fluid leak around the calipers and hoses. Anything that seems wet, grimy or oily could be that. Check your brake fluid level.

More precisely though, if there's no leak it could be an internal problem with the master cylinder letting fluid pass through when it shouldn't, and then you need to replace it.

Sorry, I realized I posted to the wrong forum before which is why I moved it over here.

I have a 2005 Acura TL A/T. I can't imagine it's the master cylinder otherwise I wouldn't think it could develop pressure halfway down and hold. In other words, it would slowly have blow-by and slip all the way to the floor and my car would begin rolling off, correct?

I haven't checked for fluid leaks because the master cylinder is full but I suppose it doesn't hurt to check anyways. The only thing I can think of is this thing here which I take it is not able to be repaired?

If you check the fluid level and it's not abnormal, there's a heck of a chance it's a master cylinder issue. Before any repairs are carried on though, bleed the system and see if this fixes your issue.
