Symptoms;
Randomly Key would not come out of ignition (Get stuck in Accessory position, like when the car is in drive and you turn it off, and yes it sounds so obvious now that I figured it out )
If you started the car and took it out of park and put it back in the key would come out
Sometimes it wouldn't even come out of park when you turned the car back on (Because the car did not register that it was in park, so it did not activate the park shift release when the brake was applied)
Big Telltale sign **The Park indicator light in the dash was not illuminated when it was malfunctioning**

Fix;
Replace the neutral safety switch, which is right inside the drivers side wheel on the transmission. Be careful when your replacing it to use feeler gauges to line up the sensor perfectly or else you'll risk being able to start your car in D or R etc.
Don't confuse this with perhaps a bad brake switch and your car won't come out of park, according to the master tech at the dealer I work at the Park indicator light not coming on is a telltale sign that that is the issue.

Hope this helps someone, I know it drove me crazy for about six months

Well we bought the car with 150K, and it did it about a month later, so who knows, it could have been doing it for 1,000 miles or 50,000
