Blazin, if you want to know a sick place to get your tints done, theres one about 10 minutes away from me. Its in Freehold, its $200 to get your TL wrapped and they skill it. Auto Image messed up my tint and I had to get them retinted there. Nice clean and quick, and then you can come through here haha. Its definitely worth it.

Cwo715...
I strongly suggest no going to AutoImage...FINAL (from the forum) had his TL tinted there and they apparently didn't do that great of a job...
...I also called them to get a quote etc. and they didn't even know what moleskin was and they dont use anything to prevent the scratching nor do they give any type of guarantee that the film wont scratch due to normal window function...
You should try The Tint Shop in Edison...they're right off route 1 and the light before the line of Ray Catena dealerships...I went to them to get a quote etc and they seemed like they knew what they were talking about and he's the only one in the area that has the Madico Advance Ceramic (High Definition) film...he quoted me $329 + cost of moleskin (which shouldn't be more then $10-$20)...I haven't had my car tinted yet since my first order of business was to have the clear bra (paint protection film) installed on the car, which I just had done today by my Lexus dealer haha (long story) but yeah if you need any help etc let me know

I just got my tints done today! It's only 30% but I figured I'll get harassed less by the cops. Also since im an 18 year old driving a $33,000 car, it usually gives them more of a reason to give me a ticket. (Nothing against them so dont yell at me about it)
It was raining today so I took this pic on my celly really quick.
I got it done in Stroudsburg, PA. Its about 45 mins from Clinton, NJ, if anyone knows where that is. Since hes across the street from me he gave me a discount, but he usually charges around $225. I dont know the exact brand of tint, but he did an amazing job from what I have seen so far. He rolled down the window to show me and it is lined up right with the edge of the glass, so there is no gap. Only time will tell if there are any errors. It just sucks I cant roll the window down for 3 days, but its not like the weather will let me either haha.

Sorry I cant get any pics, my car is filthy dirty and theres no sense in cleaning it when its raining everyother day and theres supposed to be some huge snow storm headed our way. But I double checked on the rear quarter window and he definitely tinted all of it, and he didnt leave that gap like some cars.

Bumping thread as I'm still deciding on a shop to use. I had a friend of a friend setup but he is being very lazy.
Considering tint tech or 5 star as of now.
Blazing did you ever get your windows done and where if you did?

I haven't done mine yet, probably do it this summer (hopefully)...I recommend you make a trip up to The Tint Shop in Edison, NJ...he's supposed to be very good and works on ray catena's customer's cars and catena expects nothing but the best.

I have my front windows tinted and I've been pulled over for it once, but he didnt give me a ticket. I've been pulled over for not having a front license plate at least 4 times and ticketed twice. I still refuse to put my front plate on.

So I finally got my car done from a friend of a friend and he did a GREAT JOB ! I got it done a few weeks ago but was unable to get some pics taken.
CENTRAL JERSEY $150 for the whole car.
Anyone wants it done just let me know, he does it on Saturdays at his house. He does tint for a few major shops but I do not want to say so he does not get in trouble.

Yes he did it just doesn't look right because of the sunlight and the camera used a flash.
That's why I took the picture to show he did do it right but the picture sucks. If you look at the last picture real good you will see there is no gap.
I live in Old Bridge but he is a few towns away.

ExAccord...where is he located, I'm in central NJ as well and am most likely going to have mine tinted within a couple weeks.
Also...from the looks of it, regarding the quarter windows, it seems he didnt tint under the rubber edge.

The kid lives in keyport and I will get his business card in the next few days so anyone interested can make arrangements.
I did 35% all the way around and I think the tint might be too light in the rear quarter window and that's why it looks like it was NOT done correctly but he went behind the rubber.I will try to get a better pic to show it WAS done right. I didn't even have to tell him it was just done when I went to pick up the car.
GREAT work for a GREAT price, no complaints here.

EXAccord, could you PM me if possible (system will not allow me to initiate)? I wanted to ask you a question about your contact, as I'm local to keyport and wanted to have some tintwork performed.
Best..
