wow first time i ever felt a earthquake in NY! i know its common in cali but NY? who eles felt it?

 

the earthquake was in virginia, but yea NY/NJ felt the shakes

That time I was at 15 floor on scaffold floor and yes felt it VERY WELL

 

I was in MD. The second i stepped out of this building i felt my legs shake lol. First time i experienced an earthquake. I thought i was tired or something. Anyways a second later 100s of people were running out of the building. Minutes later i realized it was an earthquake lol

 

I was on the belt parkway relaxing blasting music heading to the the doctors appointment to meet my girlfriend. Anyway I see an enormous amount of people outside and immediately thought it was a fire. I stepped out the car when i parked and asked what happened. The lady said "you did not feel that earthquake". I said back "no, I guess BMW is earthquake proof" haha

 

I was at home (3rd floor apt), cutting a tomato and felt the table I was working on move; I thought I was dizzy or having a stroke...

 

i was havin lunch in my office at the 9th floor, i was pissed that they made me evacuate, but i was like "dude my muffins and club sandwich is up there with my ice tea"

they made us wait for ike 40mins or so, i was the 2nd one back in the building behind the fire building inspector, ftw! then ran to my lunch.

 

I think the thought of it was more scarier than when it happened, we never had one like that (especially a surface one). My buddy lives in alaska and says they get them all the time and a 6.0 just hit them last month. Apparently AK is known for having the worst earth quakes.

Now I just cant wait till this hurricane hits which is supposed to be the worst storm to ever hit east coast.

 

I can wait. i definitely don't want to see no hurricane. Hope it steers its ass back toward the ocean
