Hmmm wish i know how to make a pool. I'm wondering what the majority posters drive. I'm betting on TL. I dont think mdx ppl are going to be posting on forums.

and yea we will talk on the 22nd, till then tho browse around the 3g TL photo gallery. There are a lot of members here with SICK cars. Just pick things you like from different cars you see and put it all together to make your car how you want it Thats what I did

 

Carrie, that is my NY bumper protector. It's 2 rubber strips (front and rear bumper). They perfectly match the ASM color, and I didn't even need to get it painted. They were put on by Guarantee alarm, when they did my windows.

I had them on my Scion tC and they protected the bumpers for 1.5 year leaving them immaculate all the way until I traded the car in for my 06 TSX.
Now on the TSX, I figured it was a lease, so I didn't bother putting them on. 3 years after, when I was giving it back to AHFC, the bumpers were chipped and scratched due to the people of Brooklyn who don't know how to parallel park.

True story: I saw a woman in an MDX w/ a rear camera bump the car behind her, as she was leaving a spot. She must have sped up to 5 mph when she hit the poor car behind her.

and im not even gonna lie, i SUCK at parallel parking. My friend Amy lives in Brooklyn and whenever I go to her house im like SHIT I gotta park, i always do fine and i never hit anythin i just hate it!! Funny tho because when I leave im like yeaaaaa im a parking pro but by the time I go back i have to start all over. I never ever have to parallel park in CT

I like how the black looks... is it difficult to keep it looking clean? I'm not sure if i'm crazy about those rims. What happened to your stock rims?

Are you going to tint your windows? I think black car tinting windows is a must. I wanna tint my windows but i'm afraid of tickets. New york cops are nuts.

 

Yeah I know, I'm getting them replaced & gonna try to sell them off. I do have OEM rims & probably gonna roll on those for a while till I get something really nice. Tints ARE a must on black cars...soon & very soon Thanks for the feedback & yes, black is a biAtch to keep clean. I do my best & its getting detailed & prepared for our wonderful Chicago winters.

BlazingGT, how often do you get tickets and how long have u been driving w/o front plates?

I dont get pulled over for no front plate in Illinois even though it is the law BUT if they pull you over for something else, they will also write up the front plate sticker.

 

Dan, let me know how that works out. I would love the retractable plate !!!!! But i think my bumper already have screw holes in them. probably get the retractable on my next car.

 

That is the issue with a few of us. The bottom isnt a problem (they have factory plugs for them) the problem is making the hole were the 3rd bolt goes go away. its gonna be a crap shot
