WTF is wrong with some of the pigs that work for NYPD? Where is the courtesy and respect?

I'm not one to start disrespecting officers but some of these people dont deserve to be called that.

My dad borrowed my ZDX today. He got 4 blocks away from my job when a pig pulled him over. He was told that the windshield of the ZDX was tinted and he couldn't be seen in the car. When he said that its not tinted (I'm not Shawn ) the pig then told him that the back windows are tinted too dark. My dad told him that they are stock and like that from the factory. Then the pig took his driver's license, and when he came back to the car - gave him a ticket for not wearing a seat belt. Now my dad does break the rules of driving every now and then - but one thing that he is adamant about is wearing his seat belt! He even wears it when he sits in the back seat.

When my dad tried to explain and show him that he has been wearing the belt, the cop said "prove it in court". Can you believe this shit?

My front windows are tinted - yes. Had the ticket been for illegal tint thats one thing, but a ticket for a belt? Come on, give me a break. Now he has to fight it, will probably loose it and get points on his license, and I cant understand why

 

How does someone prove whether someone does or does not wear a seatbelt in court?

Find a cop friend and get a PBA card/shield.

 

My dad and I have PBA cards from 2007 - I guess they have an expiration date.

Regardless of that, PBA card or not, this shouldn't happen. I get the idea of breaking the law and paying for it - illegal tint, thats a risk I take - but to ticket for something thats not true, thats beyond disgusting.

 

i got a ticket on jamaica ave today.
by 3 cops..... that walked up to my car at red light.

i thought i had 35s but apparently the meter said i have 11s
it's a fix-it ticket, and they only gave me a ticket for one window. LOL

 

Nyc cops are assholes!! AND THEY ENJOY BEING ONES. SMH

 

meeting one cop who is full of it does not give you the right to call all of them names.

Seatbelt ticket w/ seatbelt on...that's much lame, I say get a lawyer and walk away with a fine vs points.

I got pulled over for speeding 2 weeks ago, laser hit in the rear, not sure if it jammed or not, he said it was 80 in a 65, got off with a warning for reckless driving.

Was the cop lying about clocking me or just being nice and not giving me a speeding ticket? didn't stick around to find out.

I've met my share of fair and courteous cops too, but lately that number is dwindling.

Like I said, if I break the law - whether it's tint or speeding or whatever else I may be doing wrong - I'm ready to face the consequences, but don't give me or anybody else a bs ticket for no reason whatso ever
