Dan, I don't think he's got 27k on his car...you just don't use your car...

same specs from a dealer stand point via KBB

Excellent $23,605

got off topic though. Z's car is also extremely clean also, besides the scratch I would expect it to be worth a better value than what he is willing to take.

Dan, we all know you take care of (and probably pray to) your Acura. It would be an excellent 2nd machine to own.

On the other hand, the price you're asking...well, you can get a 4G in that price range

Guys, has anyone received their Acurazine stickers? I heard a whole bunch of people got theirs already, especially the people out west. I'm I the only one?

Sorry to go off-topic but I really don't wanna look like a jerk and open a new thread for this. And I know if I ask one of the moderators, they won't answer back to me.

I hope I don't get ripped for this...

Unfortunately Dan, KBB value and market value are 2 different things.

I got the ZDX in June. Thats when I put the TL for sale for 22k. At that time its value was like 25 or something like that. The dealer offered me 18k for the trade in. I scoffed at that and thought they were nuts.

Here we are - 7.5 months later and the car is still with me. Luckily I was able to pay it off, so I just paid insurance on it for half a year. The problem is, my registration is up for renewal by Feb 25, I need to have the inspection done and renew the insurance. So now I'm kinda getting desperate.

Just got a call an hour ago from a guy who saw my car 2 weeks ago, he's coming tonight with his wife and hopefully picking it up on Saturday for $17,500. Its a fucking steal of a price - but unfortunately I dont have much time to deal with it anymore.

Moral of the story - I am not buying used again, I'm back to lease only! Drive the car for 3 yrs and just give it back. No hassle of selling it.

My dad told me 2 years ago, when I was buying the car, dont buy, just lease. At that time I didnt see anything nice enough to lease, I fell in love with the type-s and it seemed a natural upgrade from a TSX (the new TSX is so cheap inside!). Plus I figured the car would hold its value and be easy to sell. Boy was I wrong.

Leo - I didnt call today from a 646....Maybe you can arrange a meeting with this sound-a-like?

I haven't participated in the current donation thing but it took a really long time for me to get mine from the last.

It is totally ok just to PM one of the mods and ask, I did it last time and didn't get very far...but I got the stickers eventually, eheh.

Thanks guys. This was the first time I participated and I wanted to know if it was normal for it to take this long. I'll give it until March before asking a moderator. I'm in no hurry, just wanted to make sure.

I'm not scared of Dan's dog but just concerned when it starts jumping on important parts...

you guys have no idea how I'd like that cat to be someone's snack...but she doesn't get out much.

She's like 18 years old and still pawing at everything.

But yea...it's been awhile since we had a meet anywhere besides Hooters...which is generally pretty boring. I mean birthday pranks get old pretty quickly and not paying the bill...that's to be expected.

We should have a dinner get together, girls included. Z's girl is cool and Leo's wife has to be cool also. We should do a mini get together. I call it a get together because my car stays in this time of year.

or cheesecake factory

what location are we doing this at? I assume no cars...

if you're all on good behavior I can arrange for a short stroll on the roof of the building where my mom lives.

It's a good view but should be chilly...
