people have dynoed stock, there is no waste.

I could just run with my GT2 but then I'd have to look for a place away from cops and do several runs.

Dyno is a bit safer.

Joe, those are stock numbers. I'm pretty sure I've already improved on the grip with springs and UHP tires.

I don't consider my car slow at all and neither is yours.

negative.

I tried going to a Dyno meet once...and that failed miserably as no one showed up and the shop was closed.

No one makes fun of the RL, but you often do claim it to be faster than it really is.

Probably not much over stock with just and intake, pulley, and lighter rims.

Steve, RLers speak of a driveline loss in the 30% area, so I guess stock would be just over 200whp.

I do believe the RL is faster than everyone thinks it is, and yes, I did run the G35 from a stop and I've smoked a newer Maxima too (even though I think the retard driver was partially to blame, he later informed me he had AWD too).

lol no maxima has awd.

also with that much drivetrain losses you might be looking at less gains that what is typically thought of with those mods. But yea, 220awhp is not bad, and not overly optimistic. if only your car wasnt so heavy....

yea...if I could get rid of even 500lbs the car would be much faster and handle crazy too.

the original drivetrain losses are coming from people with the 05-08 cars, nobody actually put a new one on an AWD dyno.

I dunno, they may have changed the programming. Would have to dyno to see if the curves match up to earlier stuff.

Maxima AWD hahah....what is the drivetrain loss for the RL?

I agree with you Leo the RL on paper looks slow.

I personally believe the RL is quicker than what paper says.

I remember running a 3G TL 5A/T when I first had my RL stock and i pulled on him by 1 car. so the 3G TL must be running what? Mid 15s? I thought 3G TLs A/T ran low 14s?

3G autos run high 14's i think. 3G 6mt's run mid 14's.

RL's are slow off the line, but once they get going im sure they're just fine.

I doubt 3G auto's run high 14's as my RL stock totally smoked my 3G stock and we're not talking about 1 car. We're talking about my brother in the RL while I was in TL trying EVERYTHING.

you just have to know how to launch your car. For this Car to be AWD and over 4000lbs...PLUS the 40LB rims I have on, I honestly launch off the line pretty good against cars. Especially on HOT days with my summers hahaha

Shawn, I was just saying that my RL is nowhere near a stock 3G auto.

Even with a jump off the line the RL was leaving me in the dust in regular auto mode while TL was in sports. When I run RL in sports, it's about 1 second faster to 60.
